Just a short comment to say my wife and I thought Soprarano was excellent. Perfect location, charming people, large, comfortable and stylish bedroom. We could not ask for more. Top marks from us.

This property was exceptional. The service was on point! We arrived to a great welcome. The room was divine. The bed comfy, the location just right and the breakfast a delight. Stay here!My only slight negative was the Filipino girl in the breakfast room was a bit 'cold' but other than that....oh and no Breakfast tea in the room LOL, but I would stay here again. Loved it!

    Sweet Soprarno Suites

    rating07 Jul 2025

We had a lovely stay at Soprarno suites!! Great location but tucked away so that we could have a restful night’s sleep. They have a small lounge area with light bites and drinks that you can access any time. Check in instructions were clear and sent ahead of our arrival. Breakfast was delish! Helpful staff and cute rooms.

I fell in love with this place

    rating28 Jun 2025

My daughter booked a deluxe room for 3 nights , and neither of us wanted to leave ...The hotel cafe is on the ground floor, but the rest of the hotel is on floors 1-3 including rooftop. There is a lift but the stairs are so beautifully wide and well-lit that we used them everyday. We were aware that reception was not 24-hr and we were a bit concerned in case our flight was delayed, so we got in touch with the hotel before arrival. Viviana was very helpful and responsive to our queries. We arrived at the hotel just before 4pm and Viviana still took the time necessary to explain how access beyond hours worked and showed us around the common areas. We were delighted with the selection of quick bites available in the common room behind reception. The lemon cake was divinely crumbly yet moist. Our deluxe room was more spacious than I have experienced in many "standard" hotels (see photos). The only suggestion I would make would be to incorporate bathrobe/towel hooks next to the shower area. To improvise, I used the chair on my side while my daughter hung her towel on the toilet doorknob on her side.We were given Room 24 on the 2nd floor. Just outside our door is a shared sitting room for guests on that floor. I would read here while waiting for my daughter to wake up in the mornings. (Note : there is a TV in the room plus a DVD of The Roman Holiday.)The hotel continued to delight us with their breakfast offering. Coffee as you like it prepared by the lovely Maura, a selection of juices, cereals and yoghurt, 3 types of croissants (I preferred wholegrain) plus other breads, selection of cold cuts and cheeses, boiled eggs, and a cake of the day. The apple cake looked dense but tasted incredibly light. I always finish my meal with their cherry tomatoes which taste glorious.Soprarno is conveniently located and easy to find even as we walked everywhere. As you exit the main door and look to the right, you can see the Ponte Santa Trinita close by. To the right of the Santa Trinita is the famous Ponte Vecchio. Towards the back is the Palazzo Pitti through which we accessed the magnificent Giardino di Boboli. There are some lovely trattorias with a view of the palazzo. Their outdoor seating offers a much more open aspect that the trattorias in the more cramped areas. If you are in Florence for a short holiday, the map in the Soprarno reception area offers suggested sights for day 1 and day 2. We eschewed queues and instead had a fun morning exploring the city with the help of Questo. Block off at least 2 hours if you wish to explore the Giardino di Boboli. Our departure coincided with a planned transport strike (20th) and we were unsure if our flight would be cancelled at the last minute. To be honest, my daughter and I would have been happy to be stranded in Florence! Brunella was on duty on that Friday and, after explaining our predicament, she offered to keep our room free for as long as she can in case we had to spend another night in Florence. She even asked for our flight details so she can check on our flight status after we had checked out. When we were at the boarding gate and confirmed to her that we will not be needing our room anymore, she said she had just checked and noted that our flight was on schedule. THAT was service of the highest level. My daughter and I have had the loveliest stay, and if I come back to Florence, I would definitely want to stay here again. Thank you to Brunella, Viviana and Maura for making our stay beyond pleasant.

Perfect Place to Stay in Florence

    rating13 May 2025

We stayed at Soprarno Suites for a few nights in Florence, and it honestly felt like staying at a (very stylish) friend’s home. The room was beautiful with vintage furniture, art books, and always smelt so nice! But what really made our stay was Brunella. From the moment we arrived, she made everything so easy. No formalities, no stress-just warmth, great recommendations, and always smiling! We will be coming back for the city for sure, but more so for Brunella!
