  Great place to stay in Florence

  Great location. Just a few minutes walk to the train station and very close to the Piazza del Duomo, Mercato Centrale, many good restaurants and other tourist spots.Rooms were small but clean and modern although the walls were a bit thin so we heard noise from our neighbors.The staff was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and very helpful in assisting us to get the most from our stay in Florence.The included breakfast had fruit juices, a varieties of coffees and teas, pastries, eggs, meats and potatoes.   I spent a week at this hotel. The location is on a busy street but it was close to the station and walking distance of all the main sights. My room was at the back and I didn't hear any traffic or street noise. My flight was delayed but there is 24-hour reception so checking in was easy. Everything was clean and I had fresh towels & housekeeping every day. The room was small with a rack for clothes and l could have done with a drawer instead, but there was a safe and a mini fridge. The shower was a bit of a tight squeeze and the hot water took a while to come through. Breakfast was the same every day buffet style and unlimited. The staff were really friendly and helpful and able to offer advice when needed. There was air conditioning in the room and Sky TV with programmes in English.   Front desk assisted with very early morning logistics with valet and a big enough taxi to ensure we got on our early train one day and early flight the next. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean and comfortable. Location walking distance from many attractions. It's on a busy street and there are no grand halls or large lobby for space efficiency.   I wanted somewhere with easy access to the railway station and major attractions. This was an excellent location and surprisingly quiet. Room was clean and comfortable, although it took me a while to work out how to control the lights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good, including the early morning breakfast box.
