  Beautiful hotel , elegant rooms , great location with trams outside and short walk to the river

  When we arrived not knowing Florence at all we felt we must be outside of the main tourist area. How wrong were we! The hotel was just perfect. The tram was directly outside and it was one stop before the train station where you could get off and walk 10 mins to The Duomo winding thru the thankfully shaded lanes .If you don’t want to use the tram( and in the morning they are busy) just follow the tram lines walking to the station and Duomo. 15 mins top.Alternatively turn left ( with your back to the hotel) and the river is a five min walk. Left again for 10/15 min along the river and you will see the Ponte Vecchio . Worth noting the trams are pay as you go on board by tapping a credit card but when it is busy don’t bother!The hotel is a marble delight, clean and fresh with good sized rooms and a fantastic breakfast. The reception staff were extremely helpful. No evening meal but a small bar is available .I would recommend this hotel .   Wonderful people and great location

  So glad we chose Moon Boutique. The hotel is no more than it 15 minute walk to the center of everything. Just head down via La Scala. The hotel itself is modern, very clean, very professionally run. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and the beds comfortable. From the front desk to the servers at breakfast, everyone was friendly and accommodating. Easy for taxis to come and go, especially when heading to from the airport. Absolutely would stay here again!   NO HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS

  The hotel has ZERO idea how to handle medical emergencies. This is an absolute priority when travelling to a foreign country.Firstly I’ll list some positives as the hotel had some nice things about it. The breakfast waiter was lovely and the cleaners were really good. The spa is very nice. The room was nice however being placed in the bottom floor there was a lot of sound which was an issue I was told not to worry about by the receptionist even though it was in fact an issue.The main reason for my 1 star. The receptionist was absolutely useless. When I told him my girlfriend was suffering from illness and that we needed urgent medical help he didn’t know what to do and kept saying that he only started working here in November chuckling and therefore didn’t know the protocol. As her condition was worsening he had only messaged the manager to find out what to do and had just found some incorrect phone numbers online. I eventually (using AI instead) found the correct number and she had to be picked up via ambulance! He did not once ask if we were okay or seem to care at all and I’m disgusted by this to be honest. Even worse, the next day I asked for some waters for her as she was still suffering as the hotel didn’t provide daily water which they should do. And when I went to check out I had been charged €6 for this. He still failed to ask about her condition even after knowing that she had to go to hospital.   Very bad experience - Theft in Room

  Very bad experience at this hotel.We were victims of a theft of jewelry directly from our room, which is extremely serious. A jewelry box containing valuable items disappeared during our stay.What is even more concerning than the theft itself is the hotel’s response, which was clearly insufficient: lack of support, lack of seriousness, and no real sense of responsibility.We reported the incident immediately and had to handle all the necessary steps ourselves (police report, insurance, etc.), with little to no assistance from the hotel.A hotel is supposed to be a safe place… this was clearly not the case here.⚠️ I strongly do not recommend this establishment, especially if you are traveling with valuables.
