    Quality place in a great location

    Nicely appointed, quiet rooms despite proximity to the train station. Great location for train travel or walking the historic city to most attractions! Friendly and professional service. We had breakfast almost every morning and that was a convenient way to set us up for each day! Happy hour/ aperitivo hour at the bar with a drink and assorted snacks is a nice feature as well.     Great location near to rail station and within 500 meters or so from the Duomo.Rooms was clean spacious and good value.All staff were very helpful.Rooms at front do experience noise from trains and trams but not excessive.Breakfast was a real plus.Great happy hour as it includes snacks which were varied and tasted good.     Family trip nightmare

    Unfortunately the experience with your hotel C-hotels Ambasciatori was the worst experience ever. Our family's last stay at your hotel C-Hotel Ambasciatori was exclusively for overnight stays, and we always left around 8:00 AM and always arrived after 9:00 PM.1st - Before we arrived at the hotel. On the 17th of February I contacted the hotel to inform them that one of the guests, my mother, had suffered an accident, falling down stairs and breaking the femur - impossible to travel. We asked if we could get a refund for this 4th adult, as the reason is force majeure. The answer was immediately no, and without suggestion of a solution. Even presenting the medical report indicating that the person couldn't travel, the answer was no. Just for comparison, the airline, based on the situation and the medical report, solved the situation so that we would not lost the value of the airfare.2nd - At the check-in we were charged tourist tax to 4 adult guests, when only 3 adults checked in. €84 was charged instead of €63. We had to ask for the refund later on. 3rd - The most serious was the inability and lack of sensitivity in solving the issue of the broken balcony door. When we arrived at the room last night (around 10:30 PM), the balcony door was open and the room was cold. When we went to close the window, we saw that the doorknob was broken and it was impossible to close the window. That said, we went to reception to explain the situation and seek a solution. The front desk employee responsible was extremely rude and extremely insensitive to the situation, which had nothing to do with his responsibility, he only sent a technician to the room that wasn't able to solve the situation. Didn't have the empathy of checking for himself the situation.We asked if it would be possible to add an extra bed to the second room we booked, as it was large and wouldn't be a problem for us. The answer was negative. We inquired if there were any nearby rooms available; proximity was crucial, as the reservation was a "family" reservation as we are traveling with the kids of 11 and 18, meaning we needed to be relatively close together. There weren't any. We asked if there was a single room available, and one of us (parents) would be sleeping there, and the answer was - Yes but you have to pay for it. "Unbelievable"By our means, we took of the mattress from our room and take it to the kids room, and slept in the floor.We are very dissatisfied with the hotel's attitude, the inflexibility on all points raised, and the failure to offer any suitable solution for our family reservation.     Nice hotel but too noisy outside.

    Although this is a nice hotel and so handy for the train station, the noise from outside is dreadful.     We stayed for two nights and checked out on 13/04/2026, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The room was uncomfortably hot and the air‑conditioning only worked on fan mode, despite several guests asking reception for cooler settings. We had to sleep with the balcony door open, which was very noisy, especially in a street‑facing first‑floor room, even though we had requested a quieter room.Cleanliness of the floor and sheets was acceptable, but many other details were not up to standard . The duvet was not properly covered and slipped off easily, raising concerns about whether it is actually washed between guests.Breakfast was fine on the first day, but the second morning was chaotic: not enough plates, no replenishment of buffet items, and only basic food available, so we ended up eating outside. For the price we paid, the service and room conditions were far below expectations, especially in Italy, where the coffee was also poor quality.
