A terrific base for your stay.

Location location location ! If visiting Genoa then the Best Western hotel makes a terrific base....situated very close to most things you'll be wanting to see. The rooms are large, clean and importantly seemingly sound-proofed ? The breakfast was a little minimal, however perfectly adequate. The hotel also has a superb restaurant the Esoticum opposite the entrance (try the pasta and pesto + the incredible Tiramisu.

I had a comfortable stay at Best Western Genoa, made especially memorable thanks to Carlotta and Michele, who were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. Their friendliness and willingness to assist really elevated the experience.The location is excellent — easy to get around, and the hotel itself is clean, well-kept, and has good air conditioning, which made returning after a hot day feel like a relief.Breakfast was so-so. It did the job, but it wasn’t a standout part of the stay.One absolute highlight was Pizza Savo, directly opposite the hotel. The pizza is delicious — so good that I went twice. It’s a perfect, convenient option after a long day of exploring Genoa

Good trip but male desk clerk needs training

Iam still seated in the hotel. The room although small is impeccable. The breakfast good and staff superb breakfast staff. Hotel well situated to all amenities and places to visit. The only uncomfortable experience I had was with the front desk staff who spoke and understood English. On leaving my room card in my room and needing to get back in they eyeballed each other, made a phone call ,put the phone down and acted as if there was nothing they could do. The young female looked to her senior male counterpart who constantly was looking down and only addressed her in Italian. I asked to speak to the manager she pointed to him and he dismissing replied that the manager was away until October. I expressed the uncomfortable nature of the situatuation and the female younger member of staff showed some concern looked to the male senior who still continued to look away issued HER with another card and she handed it to me. It only takes a situation like this to spoil an otherwise good trip. Perfect location and everything you need.

Perfect location close to Marina and Old Town. Room had everything you needed, toiletries, air con, kettle and tea! Bring your own milk but does have fridge. Breakfast was basic but to be fair there’s lots of bakery’s near by if you needed anything. Staff were all lovely and super helpful.
