    What a amazing hotel,staff so friendly especially Michaela who chatted with us every morning,rooms lovely,housekeeping brilliant,great destination with added bonus the pool on rooftop and jacuzzi,I was treated to a birthday cake at breakfast which was lovely.just a perfect stay start to finsh pciana, at Best Western Regina Elena, responded to this review Thank you so much for your wonderful review!We are truly delighted that you had such a perfect stay and that you appreciated our friendly staff, especially Michaela, together with the rooms, housekeeping and rooftop pool with jacuzzi.It was a real pleasure to have your whole family as our guests during your birthday celebrations and also for Manchester’s victory, making the occasion even more special.     A lovely place for a relaxed holiday in SML

    This is a lovely, relaxed hotel in Santa Margherita Ligure, located on the edge of town towards Portofino. It’s a great location with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Before we arrived, we had seen some reviews mentioning that the beds were firm, and we found the staff were happy to provide a topper, which did indeed make the bed more comfortable.We had a small side–sea view room on the second floor, which was quiet and comfortable. It had a balcony with a great view towards the SML harbour. Breakfast was ample with good coffee, and the bar was a pleasant place to sit and enjoy an evening drink.The private beach has plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi are very well appointed, and you can even order poolside service via WhatsApp straight to your sunbed. Although there isn’t as much shade as at the beach.We stayed for 9 nights and found the resort a fantastic base—either for relaxing around the hotel and enjoying the bars, excellent restaurants, and shops in town, or for exploring the delights of Liguria. The train station, about a 20-minute walk away (or reachable by the buses passing the hotel on route to Portofino), provided easy access to many places. Some areas of the Cinque Terre were very busy and crowded, but still worth seeing.You can also easily catch the regular bus service to Portofino from right outside the hotel, though these buses can get busy at peak times. The local boat services are also easy to reach from the harbour and are a great way to explore the coast. A highlight for us was visiting Camogli—a lovely, lively town that we reached quickly by train from Santa Margherita. From there, we worked our way back along the coast, stopping for a wonderful lunch in San Frutosa along the way.     Travelled with Love Holidays, a very fair price for accommodation and flight.The hotel exceeded our expectations. Rooms were well equipped, clean with air conditioning.     Beauty hotel with excellent views!

    Outstanding hotel...if you get the view!! The hotel is magnificent as it has an amazing view from the front facing rooms. Those rooms don't offer a ton of privacy on balconies and the rooms were quite small for two people. The rooms not facing out to the water were large and the bathrooms were great!! This was the BEST shower set up in all of Italy! It was HUGE and had a ledge for my toiletries. The food was excellent at breakfast and the room easily took care of large groups. It's well situated as it's only a 5-7 minutes walk down into Santa Margherita. Great restaurants and boutique shops. Train station is a bit far, so I would suggest a taxi. Staff were lovely...elevators are small and quite small. Bar is lovely and you they have sitting areas both inside and outside for your convenience.
