    Very comfortable hotel in ideal position for an attractive, short walk, into town. Very good breakfast with friendly and efficient staff. People on reception went extra mile to help us when the next hotel on trip cancelled our booking. Wonderful views from terrace. No hesitation in recommending.

    GOODTHe locationDay reception staffBADThe tiny room, we were told that we had been upgraded, so I shudder to think about the size of our original room. The noise of the water system kept us awake all night. The wine was awful, and when we complained, we were ignored. The whole hotel is very old-fashioned and in need of updating some of the bedding looks like it was from the 1970s.On-street parking (3 spaces ensure you book ahead)instead of the advertised secure off-street parking.

    Lovely 3 Star in a great position

    Lovely little gem of a hotel, in a good position. We visited in the high season, so busy in Rapallo. Lovely roof top terrace. Fantastic views. We walked to Santa Margherita along the coast. Good pavements to walk on. Amazing views.This walk is a must ! We stopped off to have a swim in the bay San Michele. Lovely, clear water. Take water shoes if you can remember! The room in the hotel was fine. Clean, tidy. Typically Italian, small and friendly. Teeny bathroom, but didn’t bother us. Fridge in room handy. It is on a busy road, however never bothered us. 5 to 10 min walk to centre. The staff were very lovely and friendly. You need book a car park space in advance. We did this, it wasn’t in a secure spot. But off road opposite the hotel. Would definitely return!

    Great location, old hotel

    Positives:- The location is great for Rapallo as it 200 metres from the main promenade, beach and restaurants. It is also very accessible for trips to Santa Margherita and Portafino. - Parking. Although we did not get allocated parking at the hotel, there is plenty of parking on the surrounding roads (paid). - Staff are friendly and helpful. - Roof terrace has a nice view. Negatives:- The breakfast is ok, normal Italian selection. It would be nice to have fresh coffee (rather than the machine) and fresh eggs. - The rooms are very old and tired, including the furniture, bedding and towels. The walls are heavily marked throughout the hotel and everything seems very worn from the rooms to the breakfast room. Given how popular the hotel seems to be, it would be great for a refresh of paint or furniture. Based on the above, our stay was fine for one night whilst visiting this area of Italy.

    Rapallo is a great destination!

    The hotel staff was friendly and helpful; the continental breakfast was very good. The room was fine but bathroom was very small. Rapallo is a great seaside town that allows day trips to Portofino & Genova.
