Location

The hotel is situated in the historic centre of Genoa in a convenient location, just a few steps from the Porta Principe railway station and only 500 m from the boat station, making it very easy to get to from any part of the city. The hotel was built in 1897. The hotel welcomes guests in a 9-storey building with a lift and 117 non-smoking rooms.     A first class 5 star hotel, with marvelous decor. Our room was queen size, bed was very comfy, coffee and tea is provided with minibar. The bathroom was clean and spacious with towel robes also provided. Breafast was superb. Close to shops and resteraunts, and train station few minutes walk away. The staff are helpful and friendly.     A comfortable stay and a nice hotel, convenient location.

    This hotel is downtown, across the street from the train station. There are several hotels nearby. This one is historic, built in the late 19th century. Very comfortable room, it was large in comparison to most European hotel rooms. There is a roof restaurant and bar, which was not open when we were there but we went up anyway and watched the sunset from the balcony. Very nice view. The location is great, and the hotel restaurant Tralala, was also very good, with great service. We enjoyed our stay!     Excellent hotel exuding old world charm

    One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for a long time.It looks exquisite as soon as you walk through the door and exudes old world charm. The staff are superbly professional and courteous. The food in the restaurant is top class, including a novel risotto aquamarine where the risotto rice was blue! Everything about the place is lovely.It's also very central being on the Piazza Principe next door to the main rail station and the stand for buses to/from the airport. It's also a stop on the Hop On Hop Off City Bus Tour (if you want that)Would I stay here again? Most definitely yes. It's superb

    A good location for everyone traveling by train. The hotel is located just 5 minutes from the main station. The hotel has a nice style, many original elements well preserved and combined with modern elements. The room was nice, a very comfortable bed and I liked the choice of colors used.
