    Right from the entrance feel like a royal, immersed In a Museum. The staff is caring and available at all times, quick and friendly service. The breakfast was amazing and I found my Overall stay including sleep excellent.

    A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens with a swimming pool. Only had breakfast here but there was a good selection to choose from.

    It's been a purely enjoable experience, personal touch from management courtesy and a special treatment. We will return as staying at Villa Balbi made us see Sestri L. through new eyes. You can live in a piece of history while enjoying an outdoor pool, A special experience, highly recommended!

    Good place to stay1057036104A magnificent hotel steeped in history. It’s like stepping back in time. The gardens are superb.The rooms are spacious and well-equipped.A special mention for Francesco: the barman, maître d’hôtel and breakfast organiser – he’s everywhere; friendly and very professional.What’s more, he gives advice on things to do in the area.Stefano at the bar is also very kind and receiving people with a warm welcome.Room cleaning is very superficial; the vacuum cleaner hasn’t been used properly and it’s clearly visible.The swimming pool is superb but we couldn’t use it, supposedly because of work to be done. Five workers spend their afternoons chatting and nothing gets done. After four days, still no swimming pool. The receptionist was unable to provide an explanation.At 4.30 pm, we fancied a drink: the bar doesn’t open until 6 pm.The young receptionnist speaks bad english and does not understand the requests.The manager who passes you ten times a day, gives you a half-hearted hello and always looks as though he’s in a bad mood.By comparison, we’ve stayed in other major hotels in Sestri Levante: a whole different level of service; up to standart – it’s a shame. They have everything they need to do well.So not 4 stars, but rather 1 star for customer service.
