    We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had a fantastic time. The staff were amazing and spoke English very well, with our rom service for breakfast being incredible every morning, thank you so much!

    Let’s be honest, if you are going to visit and stay in Portofino (playground of rich and famous) you will have to be prepared to pay high prices! Piccolo was a stately, older hotel, but very comfortable and close to town. Maybe 10 min walk to harbour - very close.Probably one of the more reasonable (of otherwise unreasonable) priced places you can find. The breakfasts were fantastic! Be sure to take advantage of their breakfast.Good for a “splurge”.

    We have just returned from Portofino and we stayed in this lovely hotel. From the very moment we arrived we fell in love with this beautiful place. The hotel staff are so attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They gave us some brilliant tips on places to visit and one of them is a gorgeous little village on the sea front called Camogli where there are some fabulous shops and restaurants and a wonderful bakery called Revello. The little private beach that belongs to Hotel Piccolo is a joy and we sat there a few times taking in the breathtaking scenery. When we woke up each morning it was so wonderful to go onto our balcony with a cup of tea and watch the boats go in and out of the harbour. Portofino harbour is a few minutes walk from the hotel so we spent most mornings in one of the coffee shops enjoying a coffe and pastries watching the boats bobbing about. We also had breakfast a couple of times in the hotel which was great and very filling. All in all a magical holiday! Diana and Leigh

    Charming in Portofino

    A quaint, charming and beautiful hotel just outside of and a short 5-10min walk to Portofino. Rooms were clean and service was great! Enjoyed breakfast on our private terrace with a beautiful view every morning. Their private beach was amazing and a great place to relax and take a break from sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel for those traveling in the Portofino area.

    This is a breathtaking hotel in Portofino! Right across from a picturesque beach with umbrellas and lounge chairs provided for guests. It is a quick walk to the Portofino main square. Arrival by taxi was seamless, with parking and staff readily available to assist with our luggage. Hotel staff were very hospitable and friendly. Very highly recommend!
