Location

This comfortable city hotel is located in the centre of Genoa, just 500 m from the Piazza de Ferrari, the Carlo Felice theatre, and the famous and elegant Via Roma shopping street. The old town can be reached in 1.5 km and the harbour is 3 km away. In addition, the main railway station can easily be reached on foot in around 10 minutes.

Facility

150 rooms, including a suite and 18 single rooms, are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) ensure optimal comfort. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet.     This was a special break for two old friends and your hotel and gorgeous staff really were the icing on the cake in what must be one of the most fabulous but underrated cities. Thank you for your kindness and perfect warm welcome.I think we will return.I certainly would not stay anywhere else in Genoa. A beautiful hotel, gorgeous breakfasts, lovely rooms, hottest showers, fluffiest towels etc, etc!! Thank you.

    Location: quite central, most things accessible on foot or easily by public transport. BUT this means there is a lot of traffic and the double glazing does not stop the noise.Atmosphère: cold.Rooms: mattresses: dry. Clean. Amenities OK (but really, the products are low cost). BUT the room I was given (having explicitly asked for a QUIET room) was next to the elevators and the stairwell, with corridors to rooms on all sides, so you think you're going to go to sleep but no, elevators going up or down, elevator doors opening and closing on all floors, room doors slamming everywhere, toilets flushing, showers running, cleaning staff's trolleys rolling noisily on marble floors... And this was a loyalty program upgrade! That's not my idea of quiet. Or of a loyalty reward ; Not by a long shot. So I didn't get much sleep. And yet, sleep has what I paid for... So, value for money: really bad.And last timeI stayed, they gave me keys to someone else's room: I opened the door and he was in his shorts on his bed... Security? No!

    NH close (walkable) to the tourist centrum of the city. Quick check in, nice that there was some help to get my suitcase up the few stairs to the elevator. Room was clean with all the amenities I like ( refrigerator, coffee machine…) The breakfast had lots of options , as also some local dishes. It’s more to business people oriented maybe, but as a vacation - traveller I did not felt out of my comfort

    I've been staying at NH Genova Centro for 12 years now, often multiple times per year, and I can't think of any hotel where I've stayed that has made me feel quite so welcome, including other NH hotels that I've really liked. On this visit my wife and I were allocated a huge room with a double balcony complete with large chairs and a table. Just occasionally, life can get better!

    The Hotel Room was reasonable in size. Construction works in the area of Hotel made it difficult to access. The reception area is on one level and guests need to carry Luggage up a flight of stairs to access the elevators for their rooms. Buffet breakfast was a good selection for those who arrive early. Less for those who arrive later, however a reasonable breakfast could be found. Staff in the bar restaurant are very attentive and willing to assist, the light meal we had here was very tasty. I would stay at this hotel again as I am able to negotiate the entry exit scenario, however it might be difficult for older guests
