This hotel lies right on a main road in the heart of Santa Margherita, just a few metres from a pebble beach gently that gently slopes into the water.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 68 rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds are available upon request for a fee. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A telephone, a TV, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bidet, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The heated swimming pool allows guests to enjoy a swim in any kind of weather (for a fee). Parasols on the terrace are also available. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sport and leisure programme, which includes cycling/mountain biking and fishing. For a fee, guests can also enjoy tennis, golf, paddle tennis and horse riding. Water sports available at the hotel include diving, and also, for an additional fee, kayaking. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments, a solarium, aromatherapy, a reflexology massage and a hydrojet massage and, for an additional fee, a hammam, a spa and anti-ageing treatments. Evening entertainment includes live music.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the restaurant (non-smoking, à la carte and high chairs). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. Breakfast, lunch and a dinner à la carte delight guests with culinary treats and a wide variety of dishes. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, children's meals and lactose-free food on the table will delight guests' palates. For an extra charge, the chefs will also prepare vegetarian dishes and vegan food. Baby food is available upon request (for an extra charge). The hotel also offers special catering options. Alcoholic beverages are available for an additional fee.     A great location near the station

    The hotel is in a great location about 150m away from the station. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk into the main historical centre. Our room was clean and spacious (we were in an executive room on the third floor) with a large comfy bed. The room had great black out shutters and although there’s a busy road outside the sound proofing was pretty good. The staff all spoke good English and were very helpful. Breakfast was ok, not bad but not brilliant.We would stay here again.

    We stayed in the hotel on the way to Cinque Terre and back. We traveled by train and the location of the hotel was perfect for this purpose. We experienced mediterranean atmosphere, very nice renovated rooms, spacious bathrooms, small but fancy lobby.

    This is not a 4-star hotel, perhaps 3-star. The staff were business-like and efficient but lacked warmth and conviviality. Some of the facilities described were availble at the adjacent hotel but you were certainly not made welcome there. The room we were allocated was of a fair quality but I'd say of faded elegance and perhaps needed an upgrade. There was little or no natural light and you couldn't really tell if it was day or night! Food offered at breakfast was of a good quality and standard range you'd expect of a standard hotel. Service was fairly inconsistent on the days we stayed, This was the final part of a holiday through Switzerland and Italy and we were hoping for some luxury. We were disappointed.

    Perfect for train travellers

    The location can’t be beat for access to Genova train station. The hotel has been tastefully refurbished and was very impressive in terms of its’ cleanliness and facilities. We booked the larger room which had a king bed, smallfridge, kettle which suited us. I would recommend this hotel for a one or two night stay if you are exiting Genova by train. The only negative was the non-existent wifi.

    Enjoyed a 4 night stay, room only so can’t comment on any meals. Good sized room with very comfortable large bed with the best hotel pillows. Air con was very good, as was the Wi-Fi. Pleased to have free use of safe (sadly not offered by majority of hotels these days). Small fridge which worked well. Complimentary bottle of water provided each day, and a kettle with supply of tea and coffee. Lovely white fluffy towels and excellent supply of toiletries in bathroom. The shower was over the bath and very powerful, but no grab rail which, as an older couple, we struggled with.Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.After reading reviews about problems with the lift, glad to say we never had a problem.Railway station very close, but taxi from airport was fixed rate at only 25 euros.Bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.
