    Spent 4 nights at the hotel . It is slightly off the central area of Rapallo, but only a couple of blocks , it is a bit noisy because it is on one of the main roads that gets you to the autostrada. The hotel is a bit dated , but the room was clean , reasonably sized , and so was the bathroom. Good WiFi, free, good AC in the room.Breakfast is fine, maybe a bit less choices than other hotels in the area , the lady that served there was super nice. The breakfast room has no AC and you feel it. It is reasonably priced, and while it is not my favorite in the area I would go back .

    I had a brief stay here while visiting Portofino. The location is great. It’s across the street from a grocery store and only 5-10 minute walk from the train station. The staff are very friendly and the rooms were clean. I stayed in a very small single room which was very clean and met all my needs. WiFi was good as well.

    Lovely hotel with a great location. Easy access to town and beachfront with cafes restaurants and shops. Easy access to ferry to visit Portofino which can be reached in half an hour with a stop at Santa Margherita if you wish . Good parking garage. Good breakfast with great coffee. Rooms were adequate size for three people clean and comfortable. Would recommend

    A real gem! Only five minutes walk to the ferry terminal and the waterfront and easy access to both Cinque Terra and PortofinoA very affordable option with owners that go the extra mile to ensure that you remember them and make your stay a good experience Comfortable rooms and a brilliant rooftop terrace with water view are a highlight and when we go back, we will certainly stay there again I left some clothes in the room and the owners couldn’t be more cooperative in arranging for it to come back to me

    Lovely hotel in a great location near to shops and restaurants and only 3 minutes walk to the beautiful sea-front promenade. Our room was on the top floor - small elevator up to 4th floor and a few steps further to the 5th - with direct access to the large shared terrace, which had an amazing view and was the perfect place to relax with a drink and a good book in the late afternoon sun.The room itself was large and clean, with a very comfortable bed, TV, air-conditioning, and good-sized fridge that chilled our drinks perfectly. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast option, so can't comment on the range/quality, but we did enjoy a lovely limoncello from the bar one evening, and also gratefully accepted a couple of espressos when we first arrived and were waiting for the room to be ready - a lot earlier than the official check-in time, thanks to the extremely helpful staff. Actually, the number of reviews mentioning the helpfulness of the staff was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel for our stay, and I have to agree. Even before we arrived, Lucrezia was so helpful in arranging our transfer from Genoa airport, and also recommended and booked a restaurant for our first night's meal (a special one for my husband's birthday).Thank you to everyone at Hotel Stella - we had a truly amazing stay and would highly recommend!
