Nice camping with average sea quality - poor restaurant service

We had our vacation in this camping during July 2023 (2 adults + 2 kids, 3 and 5 years old). We selected Villino Superior Giannutri (bungalow brick), room only option and opted for full board option in restaurant “Le Piscine del Ricca”.Pros:- village is well organized with a lot of space and closed to the sea. Our room was less than 200 meters from the beach- a lot of shaded areas, during afternoon it’s nice to walk through trees.- big parking with assigned placeCons:- quality of the sea. The beach is located closed to a river mouth and, depending by the day, the sea was not nice.- The roomwas old and small. No wardrobe. - restaurant “Le piscine del Ricca” ( which was not formally part of the village, but proposed by them as restaurant). During our stay, we prepaid the full board ( breakfast+lunch+dinner) option. After paid 1 week full board, we had the minimum service level, with waiting times of 1.5-2 hours during the dinners. Food was “basic” with few options. I ordered pasta with fish and what I had was something similar to Pasta in bianco. Breakfast was also poor in the selection. No buffet and just ordering to the bar of the restaurant coffee/capuccino with brioches. Very high cost, compared to the quality service level offered and quantities of the food. We had a nice vacation anyhow, but the quality of the sea and restaurant were not in line with expectations.

The place is great, in the shade of pine trees, the swimming pools were more popular than the sea for our kids, they just wouldn´t want to get out of them... :) The animation team is super friendly and helpful, thanks a lot, everybody in Gitavillage, we keep singing and dancing to your theme song Gitavillage at home every day :) !!!

Very nice location, apartments were clean and fresh, under pine trees shadow (not all however).the kitchen is featured with the electric cooking plates, which is not the best for cooking (and no indication of which is the high/low temperature on the selector).Matresses and pillows were ok.Only bad points are that recycling is not encouraged at all, no different bins available in the camping (except for the trash area in the parking) for paper, glass, plastic. second point, dogs are not allowed.Animation good for children though no info is provided (usually campings have a dash board with the list of activities at the entrance).very beatiful surroundings and clean sea.

Nice sea Food Restaurant and Beach. Very clean areal. All people friendly there. We had a very good relaxing time. The area is interesting for tours with motorbikes. You will find many good dito spots on Monte Argentario. Thanks Camping Village Argentario

Unforgettable holidays

Very nice location, close to the seaside with special sunsets (the best of Argentario, for sure).The camping is well organised, we booked a bungalow for one week and we had in the package the parking, the pools and our place at the private seaside. The bungalow was well equipped for 4, with two rooms, one bathroom and a small kitchen.You have all the services around you (2 bar, 2 nice restaurants, a supermarket) and you can even stay there without going outside for the whole holidays (nevertheless it’s worthwhile to visit the Argentario mountain and its towns, Orbetello, Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole).Just to stress the quality of the organisation, one day we completely forgot the sea towels on the beach because it was raining in the afternoon. We went out for a tour in Orbetello and when we came back late in the evening we have found the sea towels on the table of our bungalow: what a service!It’s very recommended if you want to relax in a beautiful area, not paying so much.See you soon, dear Argentario Camping!
