  We rested on a beautiful island with the melodious name «Ischia-ya-ya-ya»)))) in September 2024 . The place of permanent location for 17 days chosen by hotel « Albergo Italy.What is good and this volcanic island in the northern part of the entrance to the Bay of Naples, on the west coast of Italy and the hotel itself? Divided into 6 districts, ours is Kazimichchella (Casamicciola). Between the communes there are buses, true without a clear timetable , but you will still go and return)) In each commune there is something interesting for different tastes and preferences - ancient attractions , unique terms and exotic parks . Hotel “ Albergo Italia ” gave us the opportunity to have a good beach holiday. It is one of the rare hotels, at least in this commune , with its own , although tiny beach, which is so well organized that those who want to burn in the sun will have the opportunity 'and lovers lie down after swimming in the shade , like us , can be placed under a rock . The use of the beach, as everywhere in Italy, is paid, but from September 1st the hotel offers a great opportunity to save your daily 20 euros and lie on the deck chairs for free! The small artificial bay is separated from the sea by the rocks and it’s great - no waves can prevent bathing ! On the beach you can always have a snack in the restaurant, without going into the city. Food without taste , but for a beach snack is good. Now about the hotel . It is a little one with tiny manicured gardens in which the gardener works from morning till evening and cherishes his shrubs, palms and flowers. Small pool, in which , maybe, once and someone swam , but with us old pool sad without swimmers , apparently, the capricious guests considered and not without reason, that the pool long needs repair ))The room we were staying in was a superior with sea view. Here is an important and not very comforting detail - the view of the sea , as well as the sea itself through the busy double-lane road , which rumbles 24 hours a day . Whatever way your balcony goes, it always looks at the road, but in the hotel description this feature is not modestly mentioned )) If you sleep sensitive and trepidation , then you will be able to sleep on the beach after a sleepless night under the gentle noise of the waves )),If you really want to sleep at night , and a column of funny bikes, ramming under your balcony at 2 o'clock in the morning , you are not a problem! Breakfast is served in a cozy garden. It’s fresh pastries, two-way sausage, one-grade cheese, oil, jam, coffee, tea, fruits. The guests can dine in the hotel restaurant, but we were not so willing as there are many opportunities to try more diverse Italian cuisine. Both wonderful! Alina speaks Italian and English, Anna also speaks German. No question, no problem, requests were not left unattended, participation, help! Our maid was the sweetest woman Cristina! Room was always clean, well maintained, towels changed daily, bed linen every three days. Our September vacation was not very much clouded by the three uneventful days that were used for excursions. We are grateful to the island , the hotel owner and all the staff for this wonderful time!Vladimir , Lusy.

  My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Enzo the manager is an absolute delightful host! He set us up with an incredible room with a view of the ocean and surprised us with a bottle of Champagne!! He helped us rent a car, sent us to the most delicious restaurant (a local treasure) and fed us Grappa on our arrival. If we didn’t book our next hotel off of the island, we would stay here for weeks!!! Thank you Enzo and Terme Italia 🥰🇮🇹

  Positives + the location was fantastic, the private beach area across the road that comes at an extra cost is worth it. The outdoor pool was cosy, the breakfast was nice - traditional Italian (lots of sweets). The staff was nice enough, when you don't ask them for anything. The dated, 1950's decor is almost charming, if they left it to the furniture and updated/cleaned the linens!Negs. - We woke up covered in bed bug bites, that I had a reaction to, it ruined the rest of my trip. When we looked at the linens to see what it could be we saw that they obviously were never cleaned from the previous use. They were stained, and covered in hair that was not ours. When we demanded they were changed, the staff were rude and tried to refute this! Can you imagine, sleeping in somebody else's dirty sheets during covid times!? The rooms were poorly equipped we ended up having to get our own soaps and shampoo, even our own towel, the refused to give us another towel. They put us in a room on the ground floor, towards the back street. Every time a car passed the room shook from the loud noise, it happened all night long. The bed was rock solid, and I actually enjoy firm beds. But this was it's own league of pain. ---Summary: We would have been better off sleeping outside. We spent over 250 € for just a few nights at a hotel that gave us sleepless nights, somebody else's' dirty sheets -- and bites that ruined our Holiday.

  To clarify, we've travelled a lot but are not fussy.Positives - Location is good, staff friendly and hotel is clean with nice roomsNegatives - Whilst staff were friendly, quality of service and efficiency in getting things done was mixed at best. Limited choice of breakfast (no hot options) and food often ran out. Only one hot drink included and if you wanted a second drink, you had to pay! The hotel was very quiet and it felt like they were less bothered with guests as a result. Internet unreliable in room. Didn't have our room booking available on arrival so were put in a lower standard room for 1 night. No umbrellas when it was raining. The sea facing room was nice but very noisy as on a main road. Rooms had shampoo etc in plastic sachets and not tissues / hand cream / tea / coffee facilities.This hotel could be very good with a little improvement in areas you would expect at a 4* hotel

  Had a lovely mini-break in this clean & beautiful hotel. Good location, nice spacious room with little terrace and mountain view (that's what we chose, there are also rooms with sea view). Very polite, friendly and helpful staff. On arrival we were welcomed by Enzo, the hotel's concierge who throughout our stay continued to be really helpful and gave us a lot of good local information. Nice breakfast and dinner, the latter served opposite of the road with sea view. It was very convenient to get around, bus stop in front of the hotel. Arriverderci, will definitately return.
