    the best choice made was to book the Del Postiglione hotel! The location of the hotel 1 minute from the center, daily cleaning with the change of towels and bedding! Friendly owners! I recommendGrazie di tutto

    Great hotel to see the real Italy

    We stayed in Ischia Porto because I wanted to be able to walk to the hotel from the port because we knew we were going back and forth for a day trip. We stayed at Hotel Postiglione, which was a perfect introduction to Italy for the kids. (First time in Europe for them.) We had a third-floor quad with a tiny balcony. Good AC, good towels, decent beds, good bathroom, excellent coffee, basic breakfast included. Very nice people. The location was great: about 10 min walk from port, right between a main road (Via Alfredo de Luca) and the shopping/pedestrian area (Via Rome/Corso Vittoria Colonna). “The Corso” is full of shops and restaurants. After dark, there’s tons of people out walking. The “bars” give you a good view of the scene, and give you snacks with your cocktails. Good with kids. About a 30 min walk to the Castle. Bus service was good; easy to get to Forio.

    We stayed for two weeks in this somewhat older hotel near the beach. Room and bathroom were very clean and seemed recently renovated. Most friendly staff. However: they only speak Italian and Neapolitan. Use your translator app and you can have entertaining conversations.Breakfast is typical Italian with lots of sweet croissants and local pastry.     Me and my friend spent a lovely staying in this hotel. The staff was very home welcoming and they give you great restaurant recommendations and places to visit. Breakfast was simple but lovely.     Stayed for 6 nights beginning of September. On arrival the hotel does seem a little dated and our room (especially the bathroom !) could do with a bit of an upgrade but then again maybe that just added to its charm !! Great view from our terrace and very comfortable bed .Staff were all extremely polite and friendly - we especially liked the couple who prepared breakfast. 5 minute leisurely stroll to beach/shops/restaurants but far enough away for it to be quite quiet at night.
