    Hillside hotel with outstanding views!

    What a fabulous experience of Ischian hospitality!The views, from almost everywhere are absolutely stunning! Breakfast was good, and plentiful - continental, with some lovely fruits and pastries, as well as the usual bread, cheese and hams. The hotel is a little tired, and sadly the beds were not very comfortable, but this was made up for by the family who run the hotel.They offer a lift to and from the bus station in town, at certain times, which is very useful. We walked down most days, which was very easy and just 10-15 minutes, and up the hill just once, a little more effort. We highly recommend this family-run hotel.

    The hotel is 10 mins walk from the port, and 15 from the main town/shops. They run a free car service to and from the port, morning and evening, there us a gap I think 2-6. Still being a young 60 with younger ones in tow, we arrived at 4 so no free transfer. We pulled out cases up rather than get an expensive taxi. The last bit is quite steep, so you need to be fit if lugging a case.The hotel is spotless, family run, and very friendly. Breakfast is plentiful with a good choice. We had 2 evening meals, 18e each, for three tasty courses. Much better value than eating in town. Choice of 2 starters and 2 mains and 3 deserts.There is a warm thermal pool and a free sauna the latter needs to be booked.An enjoyable experience. Try booking direct with hotel, cheaper I think than with booking.com.

    Beautiful views from thermal spring fed pool. Family run, very helpful, friendly. Fullyserviced room, comfortable bed, shower. Good breakfast. Jo gave us a lift 5 mins into town, including when we were leaving.

    Don Pedro Hotel is a lovely Hotel well worth staying at. Pick a room with a balcony overlooking the sea and Port.

    Don Pedro Hotel is amazing. We stayed in room 108 which has the most fabulous views from the balcony.The Hotel is lovely, very quaint and characterful. The food and wine is excellent and the staff very friendly.BUT BEWARE of taxi drivers charges. From the Hotel to the Port going home we were charged 25 Euros,which we believe was scandalous for less than a 5 minute ride.From Naples Port to the airport it was 30 euros which was very good value.Overall an excellent Holiday. We recommend visiting Sant Angelo, Mortella Gardens, the Castle and Procida.

    We booked this hotel after reading the previous good reviews, however, the most recent negative comments did make us wonder as to whether we had made a mistake. Nevertheless we need not have worried at all.The hotel definitely lived up to all of the previous good reviews.The hotel is absolutely lovely and full of character. The rooms were very clean, the view from both our balcony and the pool was amazing. We loved our breakfast which was a continental style buffet. The food for dinner was also very nice and full of flavour. There is lots to see and do around the island of Ischia and the hotel is in a great location to access everything the island has to offer. The staff were very helpful and we were pleasantly surprised that they had upgraded us and left us a little 20th Anniversary card and gift on arrival.Would highly recommend this hotel.
