Staying at Gemma Hotel is just so comfortable, nothing is too much for Domenico, or Marco. It’s a family run hotel in a super easy location, the rooms are still the same size and beautifully clean as they were when their grandmother Gemma ran it. Breakfast is delicious with home made cakes as well as savoury foods. The pool is fun, big with a jacuzzi and outdoor shower to make those hours of relaxing at the hotel a lot of fun. The Casamicciola spa bus shuttles guests to and fro. Public transport bus stop is just across the street and takes you anywhere you need to go on the island. So staying at the hotel for a real holiday is perfect. I went out of season and the price was reasonable.

A wonderful 6 night stay in the hotel. Its exactly How we like it. Relaxed , beautiful view and a terme 😁It is just a small walk down to the center of Casamicciola and the bus stop a few steps form the hotel.The food are amazing 👏and the staff are friendly . This small family-run hotel provided a wonderful stay in Ischia to our family of four. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Good breakfast included makes this a great budget option when visiting the island. Great location on bus route and convenient free onsite parking available. The entry is a bit difficult if you are driving - keep an eye out or you may miss it. Unfortunately, cold and rainy weather during our visit so we were not able to enjoy the pools.

Everything you want in Casamicciola

This is a warm, welcoming family-run hotel on the north coast of the island. We arrived after 18 hours of travel and were welcomed, checked in and given a map and a quick rundown of the nearby terme where we could expect discounts for being hotel guests. We got a spotless and neatly-appointed corner terrace room facing the Mediterranean - score! And though we arrived at the very tail end of the dinner service we got seated and had a sensational dinner of fried local sardines, pasta, homemade lasagne and wine, with aperatif following - all in time for us to go back to our room and collapse from exhaustion! Wonderful to be treated like family so far from home, even knowing practically zero Italian - highly recommended!
