    This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 4 week trip to Italy. The hotel has spectacular views of the sea. The staff is professional, yet super friendly. The rooms are large and comfortable. We enjoyed the spa and pool. The hotel provided a free shuttle service anytime we wanted to go to the port of ischia. It was only a 5 min ride, but really appreciated the service. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.     Slice of Heaven in Ischia

    I have traveled around the world staying at Four Seasons, St. Regis, Ritza Carlton and while the Grifo is not as large as those, the ambience and service was equal to the task. From the moment we arrived in Ischia my wife and I were transported to a slice of paradise nestled in the hills above the city. Greeting us was Michele, who was gracious and friendly. After sitting is down, he checked us in then while our bags were being placed in our room, gave us a tour of this intimate property, showing us all it had to offer from panoramic views from the 2nd floor terrace, down to the cozy spa. After showing us our room, we chose to relax. For dinner, we were treated to the hospitality of Enzo, who treated us like family. The food at restaurant was top notch and the local wine selection was excellent. The entire location was spotless and unbelievably quiet, given the proximity to the main town of Ischia.If you are looking for a slice of heaven, I highly recommend staying at the Grifo and let them help you relax.     My husband and I enjoyed a 12-day honeymoon at Il Grifo Charme Hotel & Spa. We were met with kind and attentive staff, an incredible view from our room, delicious food, and a top-notch spa. We very much appreciated the complimentary pick-up when we arrived on the island, and communicating with the hotel staff was easy and convenient through Whatsapp. The hotel felt private and quiet. Although there were many guests when we were there, we never felt it was overcrowded. There was plenty of room to relax by (and in) the pool and at the spa. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, and made good use of the Grifo-mobile mini bus that conveniently made regular (or upon request) drop offs and pick-ups downtown. The restaurant served delicious food throughout the day, and had special rotating menus for dinner throughout the week. We can't thank Marika, Enzo, Alberto, Michele, and the rest of the staff enough for making our so special and memorable. Your knowledge of the island and care for your guests is extraordinary.
