Location

This charming family-friendly hotel is located just 200 m from the beach and 2 km from the port. The centre of Ischia can be reached in 10 minutes and there guests will find a number of restaurants, bars, pubs, nightspots and shops. The nearest public transport links are just 200 m from the hotel. Naples harbour is 6 km away and provides ferry and hydrofoil services to Capri. The centre of Naples is some 20 km from the accommodation.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 63 rooms, including 4 junior suites, 4 suites and 54 double rooms, located in a 3-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom.     Spent 2 weeks at this hotel. We had intended to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius and Naples but we didn’t venture far from Ischia. Very hot when we arrived so we spent a lot of time swimming.. both in the sea (yes, it’s quite a steep path down but really quite easy for a 70 year old) and the upper swimming pool (peaceful and well equipped with shaded sun loungers). Got bitten quite badly by mosquitoes ( noticed bites over everyone’s legs) but the hotel provided anti mozzie plug ins. The staff were all wonderful … from restaurant and bar staff to cleaners.. all very helpful and wonderfully welcoming.

    The staff are truly wonderful and very customer focussed making sure that we really enjoyed our stay. Everyone is so welcoming , especially remembering us from our previous stay . We can’t wait until next year!Beautiful rooms with spectacular sea views.The ambience in and around the hotel is truly special and the food is the best. Dinners are a joy.

    The perfect location for our needs!

    I was initially worried that we had given ourselves too much time on the island, 10 full days/12 nights. I soon realised that we hadn’t, as our hotel offered the perfect opportunity for us to sit back and relax, whilst also seeing the island. Our room was simply, yet comfortably furnished with a wonderful view of the bay. We loved the choice of three bathing choices, though we stayed mainly in the smaller garden pool area. Never overcrowded, no fighting for beds and a peaceful area in which to relax. Breakfast offered a good selection and staff were attentive. The lunch menu was extensive, great quality, generous in size and good value. Again staff friendly and attentive. Regrettably we never took dinner, though the menu and value looked excellent. Separately there’s a useful short cut to the Port, a hotel golf buggy that will on request, take you to the top of the quite steep and twisty hotel drive, to the bus stop, more or less outside the hotel entrance. The hotel shuttle also works well between 1000-1600. A must visit, is the island of Procida where we spent around 4 hrs, or so, having we had sufficient time to see the key places. We loved our time in Ischia, a gem that’s escaped mass tourism and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the hotel.

    The check-in process was quick and welcoming, and the complimentary gifts for special occasions were a sweet touch. Our room was conveniently located near the common areas, but being on the ground floor, it was damp and had noticeable odors coming from the kitchen.Beach towels, however, are not included and come at an extra cost. On the day of check-out, there is a €30 fee per person to continue using the facilities after 11:00 AM. Lunch offerings were below the island average.The beach isn’t too far, but there aren’t enough sun loungers or space, and no umbrellas are provided. On the day of departure, we were offered a taxi to the ferry port, but it turned out not to be a licensed taxi and charged us €20. Be prepared if you would like to enjoy the hotel after 11:00 AM to pay extra total 80 Euro including transfer.

    lovely hotel, lovely setting- lovely get away

    Wonderful stay at this lovely hotel- all of the staff are professional, helpful and friendly- the room views over mediterranean- breathtaking- food excellent- breakfast on patio lovely- dinner choices varied- pool and rest areas, lovely--wonderful small hotel- we will return--lots of hills and steps- not for those who are infirm- but we were fairly healthy 75 year old couple and no problems
