    The good: our room was spacious with a large veranda--unexpected delight. Location is great--lovely walks to area dining and to harbor.The bad: the bathroom is very tired looking--in need of updating. Stains in grout give appearance of being dirty. Low water pressure, silica build up in shower head maybe contribute to that. Mattresses were awful with bowl in center such that I felt like I was sleeping on a slope. No robes--we had to ask and pay additional for robes. Also had to pay additional for towels to use the thermal pool. Breakfast was fair--rather skimpy compared to other 4-stars we had been staying at. The worst: after already traveling for 10 days, we used their (expensive compared to other hotels) laundry service. The service manage to rip/put holes in 4 of our items--which of course we didn't see until after leaving.

    A beautiful hotel very close to restaurants and a quick walk to shops and the harbour.The island is lovely with Thermal pool parks and a relaxing atmosphere.The room faced the pool, was very quiet, and kept clean and tidy by housekeeping.All the staff were very helpful and friendly, a big thank you to Giacomo on reception for his help trying to locate a case lost by BA.

    Great location, with the most friendly and attentive staff at reception, the outdoor pool bar, and at the morning breakfast area. Outdoor pool area was clean and not over crowded, the indoor spa pool was compact and most relaxing, with a fine range of spa services available, and which we used. Room was compact, clean, and did the job, nice size outdoor balcony over looking pool area which we had paid for / requested. Room was fully serviced on a daily basis (Grazie!).

    Problem with booking very unprofessionally handled

    We arrived and there was confusion with our booking, we had the original confirmation for 2 rooms 4 people and had fully paid, and it wasn’t cheap. There was a subsequent confirmation for 2 rooms 2 people and when we arrived they said our booking was only for 2 people. The receptionist was very rude - took no responsibility for the situation kept saying it was booking.com problem and wouldn’t deal with us until she spoke to them- they had two rooms for us but wanted €40 extra per night per room for the extra person! We were left in reception without any communication for nearly 2 hours at which stage we just paid the extra €240 for the 3 nights so we could get on with our holiday. We paid way over the odds for a mediocre hotel! We were told we would have sun loungers on Beach, we had to pay €10 per bed, we asked for towels for pool €4 per towel, hats had to be worn in pool€4 per hat lots of add on costs. Staff at pool friendly!Be careful of the details with this hotel and it is not really 4* more like 3*

    Could be excellent hotel as perfect position and has style but poor management makes it average.No internet in bedroomLovely sea and wide views from superior room.Filthy shower next to thermal pool. Reported but still like it two days later. Management informed but did nothing about it.Very knowledgeable and helpful receptionist called Giovanni- should be manager.Tide mark all around the thermal pool which spoils what could be a wonderful place.Breakfast staff never explained breakfast etiquette and it was hard to get their attention though fine once you did. They seem more interested in filling up the water jugs than in helping clients.Orange juice was some weird cheap flavoured water. Omelettes were good.Had lunch around pool and that was excellent so breakfast could easily be improved. No internet in bedroom. Reported but again management ignored.Lovely pool area but recliners not perfectly cleaned - end of season grubby look. Staff at pool were every kind. Pampered us which we liked.No soap in pool toilet and urine smell. No sign of cleaning. Bedroom was lovely and great views from Superior room. Room was cleaned.AC did not work -pumped out air but not cold!Could be a brilliant hotel with effective management. I shall visit next year as location is perfect for elderly couple like us and I hope for improvement.
