Location

The hotel is situated on Citara Bay and dominates the beach of Cava dell'Isola in Forio. Venere Citarea, whose votive statue was found, considered this place sacred and the Bay of Citara was famous for the properties of the sea and thermal waters. Citara, in fact, means fecundating water and indeed the richness and variety of volcanic action lend the baths exceptional beneficial properties. Proof of this is the presence of the most famous thermal centre, the Poseidon Gardens, which can easily be reached from the hotel on foot. Various restaurants, links to the local public transport network and the bus station are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, which is some 200 m from the beach and 1 km from the centre of Forio D’Ischia with its many shopping venues.
