    Stunning View and Gracious Hospitality

    I recently visited this hotel on my honeymoon and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for peace and relaxation. Located at the top of a hill on the Isola d'Ischia this property gives guests a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and sea from almost every communal area. The hotel staff are lead by a wonderful, accommodating family, making the stay very pleasant. Last but not least, my wife and I ended up eating way more meals at the hotel then we initially anticipated because the food was so good. Taverna Janto probably served us some of our favorite meals on Ischia.

    If You are looking for an hotel where everything you are thinking or You desire is anticipated and satisfated by the Hotel staff, You absolutely have to go to Villa Jantò. In fact the hotel is set on the well-being and comfort of the guest. I’ve had the opportunity to eat organic food, fruit and vegetables of the family garden, great sea food and traditional cooked meals, unique breakfasts with aloe juice, lemon juice, oranges, grapefruits, sweet desserts prepared with wheat or rice flour and especially unique jams in their flavor and genre. The hotel is located half way up, so you can easily get off at the sea while in the evening you enjoy the freshness of the height. The location is strategic because a few minutes you can visit Negombo, the gardens of Mortella, the splendid seaside village of Sant'Angelo and the gardens of Villa Ravino. In the evening, relax with a lemon, orange and ginger extract on the pool, or relax in the hot tub or before a Roman thermal stove. For absolute relaxation I enjoyed the indoor pool with Kneipp attached path. So if you look for well-being this is the right place.

    We have found Paradise at Villa Janto!!!

    We had the most splendid time here. The ambient and the staff was delightful, not even mentioning the food, which was from another world and cooked with love and passion. (So good, that it was hard to try out restaurants which they recommended us. Which would mean we would miss out one feast which Maria would have prepared for us.) The vegetable and fruit has been grown on their own ground and you can taste with how much care and love Antonio has been grown them.We were guided by two guardian angels, Francesca and Martina, who gave us the most amazing tips which places to visit on Ischia and how to get there in the most comfortable way. They were looking after us with so much care and made us feel like we were part of the family.The whole ambient there is designed very harmonically and a visual treat for the eye. Every detail is made with love and we have felt like we arrived in the garden of eden. Never mind the spa which has given us the most relaxing time after a day trip on the island. We even treated us with a few relaxing massages that were offered there. A real treat!It was very hard to leave Paradise after our two week holiday.Our kids loved it, and our family decided to come back here as soon as possible.Thank you so much for everything you made our holiday better than perfect.Lots of love,Jael, Antonio and the little ones :)) we miss you!!!!

    Pros:Homey, charming atmosphere in the quiet residential hills above Lacco AmenoPleasant, simple rooms have tile bathrooms, many have balconies with seatingDelightful outdoor pool and thermal pool plus thermal steam roomAuthentic Mediterranean cuisine uses produce from the owner's gardenCocktails and beer at on-site outdoor barFull board option includes breakfast, lunch, and dinnerFree scheduled local area shuttleFree Wi-Fi throughout and free outdoor parkingCons:Some noise from neighboring guest rooms and interiors can be heard.Rooms only have stand-up showers and the AC is controlled by the Hotel and it operates at certain time-frames. Thermal steam room has seen better days.

    Extraordinary Family-Run Hotel

    We were so fortunate to stay here for several nights. We were charmed by the beautiful daughters who were so gracious and by Antonio the father who is a master gardener and fixer of all things, and Maria the wife who is also an amazing cook. Lordy- it was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was delightful and it was quiet. Ask Antonio about Vanda, the pet pig.
