Location

The hotel is located directly on the seashore, in the midst of a peaceful bay surrounded by rocky shores and luscious Mediterranean vegetation. The hotel is located 200 metres from the township of Lacco Ameno in Ischia, the largest Neapolitan island in the Gulf of Naples, 4 km from the continental coast. There are shops 5 minutes' walk from the hotel and links to the public transport network are 10 minutes away on foot. Naples and its train station are approximately 50 minutes on public transport and other nearby places of interest include Negombo Thermal Park (800 metres away), Sant'Angelo and Mount Epomeo (10 km away), Poseidon Thermal Park (8 km away) and Aragonese Castle (40 minutes' drive). Naples-Capodichino airport is approximately 40 km from the hotel.

Facility

Units include 11 junior suites, 3 suites, 14 single rooms and 100 double rooms located in a 3-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and 5 lifts. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Amenities provided in the rooms include slippers and a daily paper. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub, a whirlpool bath and a bidet. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms and 128 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex (saltwater and freshwater, some heated) includes 2 indoor pools and 2 outdoor pools. There is also a special swimming area for children. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. A variety of activities are available at the hotel, for example tennis and fishing or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking and horse riding. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, windsurfing, motorboat rides, paddle boating, canoeing, sailing and diving. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, yoga and aerobics or, for a fee, callisthenics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a hammam, a beauty salon, hydrotherapy treatments, thalassotherapy treatments and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. At breakfast and lunch, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    One weak vacation with my wife. Extraordinary experience.Especially the personnell. Fantastic, warm, gentle, italian mood. Slavio, Michelangelo, Cristian at the restaurant, Paolo, Lino and Maurizio on the beach, Ciro, Vito and Raffaella at the Thermae, just to mention those I remember the name. The food is also extraordinary good. Cleaness everywhere.

    Our party of six adults had an exceptionally wonderful stay at the beautiful Regina Isabella. We loved the spacious rooms, distinctive tiles throughout, proximity to the water, fabulous views, delicious food, and the very very kind and gracious staff, from David the manager to Raffaelle the concierge to everyone else we encoutered -- lifeguards, waiters, maids, spa employees, bar tenders, etc.

    Every now and then, you stay at a hotel that epitomizes the best in hospitality and overall perfection. That hotel is Regina Isabella, from the front desk staff, concierges, housekeeping, shuttle drivers, restaurant staff, pool attendants and bellmen, everyone is excellent at their job. This is how a hotel should be run. Thank you to all who made my stay one of my most memorable trips.

    Regina Isabella was truly one of the most beautiful hotel experiences I’ve ever had.The service is absolutely exceptional - classic old-school luxury hospitality that is becoming very rare nowadays. Towels changed several times a day, two different bathrobes in the room (a warm one and a light linen one), separate slippers for the beach and for the room, attentive staff helping with luggage, beach towels always prepared for you at the sunbeds… every small detail makes you feel genuinely cared for.The heated outdoor seawater pool was an absolute dream, especially in spring mornings. The massages at the spa were excellent as well.Breakfast was wonderful, with impeccable service and incredibly warm, friendly staff throughout the hotel. Everyone was welcoming, elegant and genuinely attentive.We also had dinner at Indaco, their Michelin-starred restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience.One of the things I loved most was the private beach atmosphere - peaceful, secluded, away from the crowds. The entire hotel makes you feel calm, protected and quietly luxurious without being flashy.A truly special place with timeless charm. We already miss it very much.

    The Regina Isabella was the first stop on our honeymoon and it was so hard to leave! David and the rest of the team made our honeymoon stay feel so special - the hotel is absolutely stunning with the best seaside views for lounging and swimming. We had water front massages, and dinner on site at the Michelin Star restaurant. Such an incredible experience -- we won't be staying anywhere else when we come back.
