  A Little Gem of a hotel situated down a side street and right on the beach. Calm, relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. We had room 102 and although it was a basement room it was in no way dark or dingy, we picked this room because of the seperate private terrace. It was spotless and cleaned every day. At this time of the year (April) it was very quiet but I can't see it being noisy even at the height of the season. Great value for the price we paid. The service was excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. I would recommend Hotel Rivamare to anyone seeking a no-frills, basic, clean, friendly, family run hotel. We had a lovely time and hope to return in September!

  I would have given a score of 5 but there were a couple of issues maybe some with a language barrier or just the staff aren’t used to small complaints.Firstly we had an issue with our toilet running constantly after flushing this kept my wife awake at times in the night,I literally took the hotel staff down to the room on the first morning of our 4 night stay.The plumber turned up the night before we were leaving?Secondly at breakfast we went to wait to queue for a table but was told to go by ourselves,there was no menu,so had to ask what they had,after a couple of morning I noticed the Italians were allowed to go to the breakfast bar to order,I didn’t understand this and when our breakfast came there were somethings that weren’t with our order,the server didn’t write anything down?(the second morning and rest of our stay there were two servers)?The rooms and location was spot on,over looking the beach,with sun beds €10 a day eachThe beds,rooms were comfortable,clean and the shower water pressure and AC were really good.I would recommend staying here and would go back even with the couple of small issues I mentioned the staff were really friendly to as I said some things may have been a language barrier thing

  Lovely few days at this hotel staff very friendly and location amazing. We had a room with a balcony on 3rd floor and was a traditional Italian room. Would definitely recommend a very good location and close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops.

  we were given a very warm welcome from Costanza and Gabrielewe arrived early because of the ferry so we left our luggage there and went to lunch , when we arrived back we were taken to our room and our luggage was in the room for us.We found all the staff kind and friendly. breakfast was served on the terrace by Danilo also very link and friendly. our room (304) was decorated to a high standard , as was everywhere in the hotel and from our balcony you could see the sea.There is a bar but not very well stocked , i could not get a gin and tonic, but there is a fridge in the room so we just went to a local mini market. the hotel is on the beach and it cost s 20 euro for two sun beds and brolly, fantastic hotel and location.as a disabled person i was looked after so kindly. there is no lift. The hotel is spotless .cant wait to go back next year

  Great value. Staff are wonderful! Rooms are spotless. Beds are comfy. Great sheets / pillows. Location is central. Excellent for night timeShopping / dining / strolling. Hotel is 15 min walk from port , cobble roads & a little uphill so can be quite tiring in the heat !
