Location

The hotel overlooks the main narrow and winding street of Via del Prione, where the tower houses overlook the small open spaces, which is home to the nightlife of the city. There is a small area here of raised ground called Il Poggio (the hillock) from which revellers have views across the old village. There are numerous restaurants, bars, links to the public transport network and shopping opportunities within walking distance. The beach is about 400 metres away. Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport is about 110 km away.

Facility

4 junior suites, 10 suites and 54 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     Definitely Not a 4 stars hotel. We spend 3 nights mainly to see Cinque Terre. The pictures advertised are not the same as what you get. Our bedroom view had horrible graffitis outside, the corridor to get to our room had a whole in the ceiling (I wish I took a picture ) and we had to pass a “maintenance” room with all sorts of stuff in it. Poor bedding and bed uncomfortable. Bathroom is hideous. Breakfast room is like a school canteen. Staff is friendly and the location is good (10mn from the train station). I’m sure they are better hotels around.

    The room was basic but large, the bed was confortable and it was clean. The breakfast was really diverse. It was about a 10-15 minutes walk to the train station and close to the city center which was nice. My only negative was that the bathroom was way too small, the shower was so small and the shower doors were confusing and there was no place to put your own shampoo or soap. Overall a good experience, but overpriced for the experience you get.

    My daughter and I have been traveling Italy and had this hotel booked for the Cinque Terre area…Save your money and book somewhere else- The room faced a graffiti ridden inside weed garden, it was darkly lite, I did not feel safe at all! Walked in and walked out- lost money moved farther south by the water, and it was the best decision ever- I would never recommend this hotel- how it even got stars is beyond me- they would have to pay me,and I would still not go! Kudos to the PR company- save your money !

    This hotel has an excellent location, excellent breakfast and very nice, friendly and informative staff at the reception. Large and clean room.But..the beds weren't the most comfortable, the shower very small, and one elevator that was very slow and not always available.

    Basic hotel but clean and bright Staff lovely at reception , rooms basic but clean Breakfast nice .. good selection of pasteries cheese ham etcHandy spot .. central approx 10 min walk from train Good base for cinque terraand bear lots of shops and restaurants
