  Nice but bad bathroom

  Positive attributes: clean room, functional elevator, decent complimentary breakfast, comfortable mattress. But: very bad bathroom ( toilet is placed next to shower/NO room for feet/legs!), faucet dripping, hard pillows. Would not recommend based upon such a bad bathroom.

  Hotel has a good location basically across the road from the beach area. Cafes and restaurants are in close proximity. The room is what you’d expect for a 3*. The front desk and who I presumed to be the manager are in one word, rude. The bright spark was the service staff who would always offer a warm smile. The front desk could learn a lot from these staff members.

  I was very disappointed in this hotel. I booked a room with 2 beds and chose this hotel because it was advertised to have parking and breakfast. To start, when we arrived, I was informed that they don't have parking. And I would need to park in the city's outdoor public parking a couple of blocks away, which was what I was trying to avoid. Then they put us in a room with 1 bed when my booking was for a room with two beds. After finally getting that straightened out, we found out that breakfast was served daily, but not until 8am. Anybody planning to hike the Cinque Terre in the summer knows to set out early. So the breakfast was no use to us. Then one afternoon the housekeeper came into the room unannounced! We were in but were changing! The next day we put the sign out to have the room cleaned. And when we returned later in the day, the sign was flipped over to the do not disturb sign and nothing was cleaned in the room.The room was decent, but the customer service was terrible and we will never stay there again.

  Absolutely loved our stay here! A family run hotel with lovely friendly staff, they always said hello when we walked in. The hotel is situated at the northernmost end of Monterosso, a fairly easy level walk from the train station, there are a few stairs at the entrance but a lift inside. Our room didnt have a balcony but the big windows opened out and we had a nice view of the outdoor terrace area and a glimpse of the water. Downstairs is a large lounge area and a bar. Breakfast included was a good selection. The room was spacious enough, beds comfy and plenty of storage space. No kettle or fridge in room. Bathroom small and the shower was annoyingly small, no room to bend over if you drop the soap. Location was excellent, easy access to plenty of cafes & restaurants, easy walk to train station and maybe 15min walk to old town & ferry. Would definitely stay there again.

  this is Cinque Terre !!! 5 towns / stay in Monterossoall the towns are old so lower your expectations as the hotels are older train station is less than 100 steps to hotel : no stairs or hills you are less than 50 steps to the beach hotel had a large patio where you can sit n enjoy cafe yes the inside is dated furniture reminds me of grandma house the rooms are decent size, the bathroom is small… the shower is a tight fit if you are a bigger person … balconies are lovely … you have A/C, Wifi, tv all that you need including free safe….. every morning enjoy a full breakfast / it’s not mort american style but you have lots of options the best thing are the employees : been there for over 30years … they are kind, helpful …. they. are what makes hospitality…. this is your starting point to the other towns ….we did 4 towns & La Spezia in a full day
