    This hotel is ideal for a stay in the centre of La Spezia! I stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding. The staff are very welcoming and helpful with any questions. The room had good air conditioning and comfy beds, along with a spacious bathroom. I love the décor and artwork on the walls. It's unique and adds a quirky personality to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel, thank you!

    I haven’t even completed my stay yet, but feel compelled to tell everyone how a wonderful the staff at this hotel is! The owner (his name starts with a G) and Anna are the kindest people who really care about your trip. They greet you every day with a smile, I have been introduced to G’s family, we’ve had in-depth conversations about Italy and the world, constantly providing you with great recommendations, and I’ve only been here two nights so far. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the place is wonderfully located within a short walk to the port and the train station, the building itself is historic and beautiful, and it is so quiet for being in the center of town. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

    Best boutique hotel. Sara will go over and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Will help with anything you need. Breakfast was delicious and rooms were spotless. Beautiful people and beautiful hotel.

    I felt the property did not live up to earlier TA reviews. There are positives, but the overall impression is not great. Decor needs a refresh, especially the en-suite which was clean but very tired. The tiling looks amateur.Excellent central location. Down a narrow alley off the main pedestrian street. Very quiet, though the interior walls are thin. Luckily, our neighbours settled down early. The owner was welcoming and informative. Our room was clean but basic. The AC is excellent. WiFi is very good. There was a fridge in the room. There was a safe too, but it was small. And it was not secured to anything! So I didn’t use it and instead I had to carry credit cards and passports everywhere.The property is described as a “boutique hotel”. But it doesn’t serve breakfast and there isn’t 24 hour reception.We would not return.
