Great place for a relaxing stay

We spent 2 great nights at this nice hotel. The rooms were nice sized, including the bathroom and the balcony with a sea view was perfect. There is a great courtyard outside for breakfast or drinks and the breakfast provided was more than enough to get the day started. The hotel is just far enough to be peaceful and only about 5 minutes from the train station. I would be very happy to spend more time in this nice little hotel, the staff were friendly and always happy to help.

AC advertised but not working. Be prepared for mosquito bites.

Stayed 2 nights in a 2nd-floor room facing another building, temps in the upper 80s with high humidity. AC was listed as an amenity, but I was told only at check-in that it wasn't working — no other room was offered. The AC unit's fan worked but blew toward the window, not the bed, so it did nothing. Staff suggested opening the windows instead, which let mosquitoes in; I woke up covered in bites both mornings. Room still felt around 85°F at midnight. This lasted the entire stay, with no fix or compensation offered. Staff did offer mosquito repellent but it didn’t seem to work for me as I still got bit.Breakfast was good, location is great, and staff were friendly otherwise — but being told about a broken core amenity given Sept heat only after arrival, with no resolution over two nights and tons of mosquito bites, made for a rough, sleepless stay. If AC matters to you in September heat, and you find mosquitoes icky, confirm with the hotel directly before booking.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer advice on any question. They also had a great sense of humor, which made the stay even more enjoyable.The breakfast exceeded my expectations. There was a great variety of delicious food, especially the pastries, which were fantastic.The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. In my opinion, the location was excellent — close to the beaches, the train station, and the old town.

We recently stayed at Hotel Palme for 5 days and we enjoyed our stay immensely. All the staff were really friendly, welcoming and so helpful. Alessia in particular gave us great advice with regard to hikes and boat trips and navigating our holiday around train strikes, while Emma made sure we had everything we needed .Location was perfect, just a few minutes from the beach and main strip , just 5 mins level walk from train station, yet far away enough for peace and quietRooms were spotless and serviced daily, breakfast buffet offered fresh food and great variety to cater for many tastes.Fantastic service all round. We would highly recommend Hotel Palme for anyone thinking of going to Monterosso al Mare/Cinque Terre National Park.

Beautiful short stay holiday

Most helpful staff I’ve ever come across in a hotel nothing was too much trouble. I had left my rucksack on platform at pisa station and Alissia the receptionist tracked it down and I managed to recover it on return leg of journey.the location is excellent for exploring and really nice beach nearby, along with trail hikes through the surrounding hills and vineyards.best of both worlds holiday.
