  Great location... once we found it (my fault on that). Unfortunately, there were only certain times that check-in could happen, and as we were outside of that, we had to wait. Once you accessed the building you have to go up two flights of stairs (suitcase holders beware lol) and although a lift takes you to the 2nd floor it's not either of the doors on that floor (we know, we knocked) it's up another half...We were kept waiting as the owner(very apologetically) said he was stuck at the pharmacy. The room was great, clean, and did just what we needed... just quite a hassle at the start and not suitcase friendly, nor well signposted. 5 minute walk to the ferries and the owner was very friendly and offered lots of ideas. 3.5 would be more of my rating...

  Lovely stay! Hidden gem in La Spezia

  We stayed here from 13 untill 17 August and loved every minute.If you arrive outside the provided check-in hours, just warn the owner in advance and he will welcome you with a smile! Upon arrival, the owner - Sergio - was very helpful and gave us a lot of advice (how and what to visit in the area, restaurants etc). If you have questions, you can always text or phone him!Even though the building is old (which may result in Some odd noises at night), the room was very nice (clean, spacious, wifi, airco). Housekeeping every day (fresh towels and turnover).Parking is possible in the streets (blue lines if possible) or in a public garage at 10min walking from the hotel. La Spezia is great for visiting the Cinque terre Rivièra (Direct Ferries and trains)!In a nutshell: loved it!

  Stayed here with my friend. Had a pleasant stay. Spacious rooms with air conditioning. Interesting safe behind the wall painting. Quite tricky to find the accommodation since it was located in an ordinary building. Be aware the very limited reception opening hours.

  super noisy, we didn’t sleep all night, because the noise came from a problem of the infrastructure of the property, we paid for a terrible night and we tried to speak with the manager and he gave a ragged excuse to not provide the refund, not worth it, and more walls with infiltration.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Sergio O, Proprietario at Lungomare Rooms & Charme, responded to this review As said by phone to the guest we would refunded immediatly for a valid reason, but we aren't responsable for the guest of the next room that takes a shower at midnight, because as Miss Patricia said to the girl of clean service, the reason for her refund request is this:" the guest of the next room had a 15 minutes shower around midnight so we didn't sleep for the rest of night.".Seen that didn't obtained any refund she also invented infiltration on the walls..Big surprised that there weren't scorpions in the sheets or rats running around in the room..We are truly sorry that some people threaten to use non-existent reasons or bad feed back to blackmail small facilities like ours asking for unmotivated refunds to do free vacations..Sergio OrlandiLungomare Rooms & Charme

  We got delayed and arrived very late, but Sergio still helped us locate the hotel by phone and once we arrived, around 23.15, gave us maps, and explained what tours to take and why. Did not expect that kind of service at that hour, but we didn't even have to ask. Impressed! Would go again.
