    The hotel is everything that is promised on the website. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, offering everything you might need for a lovely stay. The view from a very spacious balcony is just amazing (the lake and the garden behing the hotel which is lovely)! Breakfast is also delicious and offers a wide variety of choices. The only thing I would not recommend is going to the restaurant as our one and only experience there was far from satisfying.     Green oasis on Garda lake

    We chose the AcquaViva del Garda hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a very good location, surrounded by greenery, but right on the lake. The building is not new, but everything is very well maintained and clean. The rooms are spacious, we haven't had such big beds for a long time;) We had a partial view of the lake, the balcony was large. You could only hear birds singing and the sound of water, very relaxing.The hotel was fully booked, but there was no crowd anywhere. In the restaurant, a very rich and varied breakfast awaited you in the morning. They served you excellent coffee. We also had dinner, where you could choose between three options for appetizer, primo piatto, secondo piatto and dessert. I must especially praise Monica, who helped us with the selection and combination of dishes. She was really the soul of the restaurant. Young Ilya was also very good, he knew everything you asked him. In general, all the employees are friendly, everyone is doing something, there are no bored faces. Pleasant atmosphere everywhere.We stayed at the hotel for five days. Every day we explored the shores of Lake Garda by car (I highly recommend the western shore to Limone sul Garda, and the eastern shore to Malcesine and the cable car to Monte Baldo). Sirmione is a must, diversify your visit with a speedboat ride around the peninsula! The walking path to Desenzano is also very beautiful. So the days flew by - we will probably have to come again;)We also went to the pool every day. You get a towel and a cap there, so you don't need to bring anything with you. Ok, only bathing suit. There is also a drink at the saunas. It is very quiet and clean here.There is free parking in front of the hotel, also behind and in the garage downstairs, which is paid.A really good choice of hotel, I recommend it to everyone.     My partner and I stayed for one night in mid-December on a half-board basis. Unfortunately, within an hour of arriving, I slipped and suffered a nasty knock to the head. As a precaution, I was taken to the nearby hospital but thankfully recovered quickly and was discharged in the early hours. With no taxis available, my partner had to walk back to the hotel in wet conditions and, sadly, also slipped, injuring her elbows, knees and foot.The night porter was incredibly helpful, offering items from the first aid kit and making us some tea. Later that morning, the hotel manager kindly allowed us to extend our stay for another night, given the difficult start. At breakfast, the staff went out of their way to help us collect items from the buffet, as we hadn’t eaten since the previous day’s lunch.We spent a relaxing day and thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant – excellent choices from an extensive menu and well-priced wines by the glass. Despite the challenges, the care and kindness shown by the team turned things around. I’m truly grateful for the outstanding service and want to thank all the staff for their support during what could have been a very stressful experience.
