    it was alright

    rating12 May 2026

i stayed here on my ty school tour and the room and beds were clean there was just a lot of damage done, curtains were falling off the pole and dents and stains on the wall but no bugs were in the bathroom or bed. the food wasn’t edible so i ordered take out for all 3 nights, so did a lot of other people. there was another school staying with us and they were extremely noisy at night and people were hopping balcony’s. but overall it was fine not as bad as some of the other reviews say but i wouldn’t willingly stay there again.

    Acceptable

    rating05 May 2026

Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are clean. However the room next door had bedbugs. The food is quite poor, so if you are attending with your school I advise you buy food elsewhere when you have an opportunity. Staff seem fine, service is fine too. There’s a town a 20 minute walk away but otherwise there’s not much around. It can be quite noisy in the corridors as children run around. Overall it’s fine for the price, but don’t expect much. The pool is also closed until May or June every year.

    bad hotel

    rating19 Apr 2026

as we walked through the grounds of the hotel we could already see bugs around the place.the banisters were not properly stuck to the walls so when people would hold onto them it would break and fall off we as people thinks its a scam so that the hotel can keep the deposit money. the rooms had bugs all on the window sill and our bathroom smelt like sewer the whole time even before someone had used it. the beds had loads of black and suspicious balls under the sheets. The hotel would not accommodate for someone with a Cecelia disease after the hotel staff said they would. took a lot of effort for them to bring a meal that they said they would serve. eggs were green. the had served the same bowls of food days on days. raged at students when they asked for a cup of hot water that they could make tea with. staff was so rude. all they want is money. they need to learn to cook there food for longer as pasta and meats were raw. the hotel was cheap enough and it really lived up to cheap hotel.

    a horrendous hotel from HELL

    rating27 Mar 2026

to start the rooms were absolutely tiny 3 beds crammed into barely a double bed room ,multiple beds ,pillows, walls etc were stained and FILTHY there was bugs found in beds ,ants in the bathroom and lights that wouldn’t work the lack of facilities is astounding and although it is stated on the website that the pool isn’t open till may it’s not very easy to find the pool is under construction and the noise pollution is annoying.this hotel is occupied mainly by school trips. the noise level coming from rooms would keep you awake at night. the students are given till 11 o’clock to socialise and what not but they’re constantly screaming, running up and down the halls, and going from room to room BY THE BALCONIES. there was also no chair in the room (which you could deal with) and no hand soap in the rooms. also, upon arrival, we found pube hairs by the bidet 🤢🤢🤢moving on to the customer service. long story short it’s appalling. we went to reception to ask for extra towels (side note if you decide to book bring your own they are tiny and so thin) the lady at the desk rolled her eyes and asked us if we had already gotten some, which we had but we had used them. she did not want to give us the towels but did in the end. when we tried to go up to get food we were told to sit back down and wait for our groups turn in a very rude tone. keep in mind this was our first night and we had no idea what to do. the food is bland and repetitive to say the least. it wasn’t appetising. if you plan on bringing on kids are picky there’s no options for them. also, you can’t drink the tap water and your only chance to get some is to either get some in different towns (no shops nearby), SNEAK some up from breakfast as the staff won’t let you bring it up to your room or buy it in the bar. overall, i would never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it at all.

    Good experience for the price

The food wasn't the best especially breakfast. The rooms felt very basic but it done the job. Despite all the negative things I said, the pool was so relaxing with the bar beside us. Overall it was very cheap so I would say it is worth the price
