    Very pretty but lacks some amenities in the rooms.

    This could easily be a 5 star experience but currently is closer to a 3 star. The building and common areas are beautiful. Well kept and very attractive. The room we stayed in was very attractive but lacked some functionality. Some drawers would be nice, coffee and tea making facilities, maybe an iron etc etc. there is nothing in the room bar the fridge. In our case the fridge was missing the water, I took a special trip to reception to let them know it was not in the fridge so we would not be charged and it was added to our bill anyway. Frustrating to waste your time. Ants got into the room and then into all the food we had in the room including into the fridge. Can’t really blame the hotel for that and they sprayed the next day and took the ant ridden food away. Spa area looks lovely but a 7pm close is just too early. We missed it every night and in the morning the sauna was not open. No shampoo or shower gel provided in the showers by the spa which is a real shame. Many basic hotels with pools provide that. Room mattresses very comfortable but don’t like having sheet with embossed blankets as covers. Just a personal preference. No heating available in the room. Asked at reception and they just told me the heating was now off. Looks like in the summer you can control the air con only. Parking should be considered pure luck. Do not rely on it at the hotel.Breakfast is decent. Had no complaints.

    The hotel was absolutely gorgeous I could not have loved it more. Of course the city of Riva del Garda or the setting of the hotel was fantastic and that has something to do with it, but the hotel itself was excellent

    for the amount I paid and what you offered it was a total disappointment. The spa was overcrowded, noise in the corridors from 7 am to 11 am, the rooms were not soundproof, I had the impression that the cleaning staff were in bed with us. Breakfast not diversified, wellness for a fee, parking for a fee. I will definitely not return. for the amount I paid and what you offered it was a total disappointment.     Beautiful hotel to stay at over Christmas period

    We stayed here for 6 nights over the Christmas period, 6 adults from UK. Would highly recommend this hotel, staff friendly, excellent breakfast & service, we did not eat at evening but food and menu looked amazing. Room was lovely and attended to daily. The hotel itself was beautiful and very christmassy with beautiful decor and attention to detail. Great location near centre of this very lovely little town (which also made a massive effort with christmas lights & atmosphere) and near a very beautiful and picturesque lake. Hotel has excellent spa facilities so would highly recommend paying extra for that. Hotel kindly reserved us two parking spaces for our duration for small fee, when we arrived after midnight staff were very helpful, coming out in the dark to help guide us into the parking spots. We needed an extra night at short notice due to change of flights, staff accommodated us with no problems & responded to our emails in advance of arrival with any queries promptly. Would love to come back and see what its like in the summer months!     Great hotel, very central to RivaStaff were excellent Room was comfortable and very clean. Great shower and shutters to keep the light out. We hadn’t a balcony which was very nice. Asked for kettle glasses and cups all supplied. Breakfast was very good similar items each day but all replenished quickly.
