    Nice friendly hotel

    This is a small hotel, very well run, and friendly team.We stayed for 6 nights and everything was excellent. The rooms are well apportioned, and all facilities felt new .It's a 10 min walk into town, down hill, but easy enough to walk back up at night.Breakfast is good with loads of variety, and the 2 ladies , very helpful. Thanks to Alice , who helped so much, with questions and advice

    I stayed at this wonderful hotel, and was amazed by the hospitality of Alberto, Patrizia and the staff. The hotel itself is clean, good standard, great food (we were a group, so we also had dinner). The warmth and friendliness of everyone at the hotel, was unique. I will give it a top top rating.     We booked this hotel with Booking.com due to the good reviews on Trip Advisor. When we arrived the receptionist took ages to check us in. We went to our room which was dire. It was dated, small and we were not at all impressed. I went to reception to ask if they had another room and told them that this was not the room I believed I had booked - only to be told that our booking had been cancelled and that room was all they had left. I reserved the room early with Booking.com and in the meantime my debit card had expired so I provided Booking.com with my updated card details. They indicated that they forwarded them to the hotel but the hotel apparently used my old card details which had obviously expired so they cancelled my booking. I ended up in a debate with the receptionist and Booking.com who each blamed the other party. I still don't know who was to blame. The hotel offered us another room which was slightly larger than the other but equally as dated and gloomy. We checked out. To be fair to the hotel, it may be that their other rooms are better and we believed we had booked a better room but what a very poor show. I will not book with Booking.com again and I would certainly not recommend Green Park. I know that a room is only somewhere to sleep and shower but we were so disappointed that we simply chose to leave - even though we had nowhere else to go to. When we left we stopped at a couple of nearby café bars to see if we could use their wifi to find accommodation but the few in the area did not have wifi and suggested we go into town, which we did. There is very little around this hotel and the walk into town is a bit of a walk.

    We were a group of 15 that stayed at this hotel. Dinner was included each night and was a set menu, no choices, even no consideration to a vegetarian. Plenty of food but the quality was not very good.Rooms very clean but poorly laid out. Bathroom door hits wardrobe, could only walk sideways between wardrobe and bed.Staff excellent.

    Great Hotel in Peschiera

    We stayed in the Green Park Hotel for a few days earlier in the month and really enjoyed it. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Helping us work out how to get to Sirmione on a Sunday morning was no trouble at all. The rooms are a little dated in decor, and the sofa in our room was a bit scruffy. But the rooms were immaculately cleaned every day and as we were using the hotel as a base, rather than spending lots of time in our room, this wasn't an issue.The pool area is nice with lots of sunbeds and is very welcome after a day out in 36 degree heat!Breakfast in the morning had a good selection and was perfect for kick starting our day. All in all, a great hotel and a great base for exploring Lake Garda. It is probably a 10/15 minute walk into the centre of Peschiera but we didn't feel this to be an issue - it was actually nice to escape the busy centre!
