    Lovely experience

    rating13 May 2026

Very clean and tidy with welcoming staff. Breakfast was a great selection and we ate something different most days. Despite being situated in an urban area it was well connected to The Old Town via a shuttle bus service only 3 mins walk away. Local restaurants were only minutes away with a choice of local food through to sushi, and better priced than Old Town. Our room had a balcony overlooking the surrounding area which we regularly used. It was a relaxed atmosphere which is just what we both needed. Noise wasn't a problem being situated in a lovely neighbourhood with a CoOp supermarket 4 mins away. All in all 10/10, thank you.

A great base for exploring Sirmione

    rating03 Oct 2025

The hotel was perfect for our needs. Not in a heavily touristy location, close to some shops, and great restaurants. The staff were helpful, especially Michael whose daily enthusiasm and willingness to help really made a difference. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with delicious foods. It is quite a distance from the centre of Sirmione, but the bus stop is close by and for €1.50 it is a simple trip to the castle. If you’re looking for peace, cleanliness, great staff, and a good base for exploring the area, the Hotel Arya ticks all the boxes.

Extremely Disappointed – Wrong Room, Poor Conditions, No Accountability

    rating04 Aug 2025

We had high expectations when booking Hotel Arya by Mauro for a 7-night stay (27/07/2025 – 03/08/2025), especially as it was for a special occasion – my girlfriend’s mum’s wedding. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish.Despite booking a Premium Room with a Queen Bed, Balcony, and Garden View through Expedia, we were given a Classic Double Room instead a significant downgrade. To make matters worse, we were still charged €500 more than the cost of the room we were actually given. This room discrepancy caused huge distress, particularly to my girlfriend who suffers from anxiety. The smaller room did not provide enough space for her to get ready for the wedding, adding unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyful time. She struggled with this for the entire duration of our stay.We tried to resolve the issue both with the hotel and through the booking platform, but were met with a complete lack of empathy and no resolution. Repeated attempts were brushed off, which only added to our frustration. To add insult to injury, the room itself was not in good condition. There was visible mould under the window sills, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the walls were dusty, which triggered allergic reactions. This is not the standard we expected from a hotel of this calibre. The lack of accountability, poor room conditions, and failure to provide what we paid for have left us feeling completely let down. We will not be returning and strongly advise others to be cautious when booking here.

    Great and friendly staff

    rating04 Jun 2025

When the bus from the airport dropped us at top of road and we were told to walk down to hotel, not such a good start.......but Oh Boy how wrong I was, from the moment we walked into the hotel and were made feel so welcome, everyone in the place had a smile on their faces, always greeted the guests with Buongiorno, etc.....I was especially taken by the young man on reception (didn't manage to get his name),he was so helpful and appeared full of life, always smiling. The rooms had obviously had full refit, as they were very modern in decor.....they were spotlessly clean, fresh towels every morning.....Breakfast was grand, you got what was needed and everything appeared fresh, if more was needed not a problem for the staff. It was a bit far from the Old Town of Sirmione, but as staff pointed there's a shuttle bus runs from a nearby bus stop, everyday, all day. You were within walking distance of Lake Garda and some lovely resturants. The only small fault I found, the Hotel is missing a trick by not having a small bar and some soft sofas, so guests can enjoy a quick drink before going out or a quiet drink in the evening....there appears to be room in reception to have one. This is a wee three star hotel I would happily return to for another break........
