I do not know what the naysayers are talking about

    rating04 May 2026

I have seen a lot of negative reviews for this hotel on here and I do not understand them. Mostly they are related to mealtimes and the service. I have only so far experienced one dinner service and bar and reeption services - all have been exemplary - nothing is too much trouble for our comfort. I had a call to my room from reception to check if I had received my case which I had brought to my room myself by my own choice. At the same time I asked if I could come to reception and pick up a shower mat and she said I will bring it to you - she arrived with it 5 mins later. The double rooms are big and the water pressure in the bathroom is high and lovely hot water, just like it is at home. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and a pair of complementary white slippers in the cupboard. There are 2 three pin plugs on the light switch panels either side of the double (2 singles) bes but these easily fit a standard 2 pin plug for all your charging needs. There is also 2 floor based 3 pin sockets that would fit a 2 pin EU adaptor. The air con unit in my room works really well - I left it on while I went for a walk and when I got back it was freezing in here 😀There is a lovely big double sliding door wardrobe with a decent size easy to use safe - my handbag fits in it as would a laptop. There are big plastic coat hangers and a chest of drawers and plenty of shelves with extra pillows and bedding. We have a mini fridge in the room which is super quiet and a note on the room says the drinks inside (a small still bottle of water, a fizzy one, a small Fanta and a Cole bottle) are complimentary. These curtains don't quite draw closed properly! I have a garden view with a balcony with a table and chairs to sit on and listen to the beautiful birdsong. It is a really quiet hotel and has a bar, 2 restaurant dining areas, a pool with poolside dining area.I would say that this 4 star hotel accommodation deserves it's ststus.

Great hotel in a good location

    rating04 May 2026

Great location, a nice 30 minute walk to the old town.Lovely hotel and our room was very modern with ensuite shower, bidet etc. There was a kettle which was a surprise as many reviews I had read previously said there wasn’t one in the room. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided but we took our own and put some milk in the fridge.Staff were all very welcoming and friendly.Breakfast had a good choice but no porridge, also decaffinated coffee was difficult to get so glad we took our own.Dinner was lovely, I had a different fish dish every day. We had a problem with our bed squeaking but it was eventually resolved on day 3.Very clean and tidy throughout the hotel and grounds.Would recommend this hotel.

    Brilliant hotel

    rating30 Mar 2026

Absolutely brilliant hotel..food was lovely...breakfast was plentiful..rooms are very clean fresh and airy...housekeeping is great..we had a slight view of the lake when looking left from the balcony. The staff are fantastic..i was taken into hospital while I was there and nothing was too much trouble for them..they called taxis for us and saw that my other half was looked after and needed for nothing. Hotel is just a couple of mile from the centre of Sirmione where you will find the castle, cafes and shops..plus a fantastic sunset across Lake Garda. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk away bus number LN026 goes into Sirmione and also goes the opposite direction to Verona, another beautiful city. Highly recommend the Hotel Du Parc.and thank the staff for their kindness.❤️

    Peacefull Sirmione

    rating09 Oct 2025

Hotel is lovely, little old fashioned but ideal for a proper rest. Food is excelent and plentiful. Half board so pick n mix breakfeast set menu for evening meal usaualy 4 choices and 4 courses, tasty and filling. This hotel tends towards our Germanic cousins so the drinks do also. My wife and I spent 10 nights here and although the night life is sparse to non existent this could be due to time of year. The staff are some of the nicest most helpfull we have met in our years of travelling. The scenic views across Lake Garda are breathtaking at any time of day, wether towards the majestic Dolomites or across towards the distant shores.Well worth a visit maybe as a holiday split.

Enjoyable half board stay in September

    rating04 Oct 2025

We stayed for 10 nights in September. Location is about a 30 min walk from the Old Town which we didn’t mind as we preferred a bit of peace and quiet and balanced days out exploring Sirmione and the Lake with relaxing days by the pool. The hotel was spotlessly clean, rooms were well equipped (fridge, air con, kettle etc) and all of the staff were really friendly. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was generally good and the drinks prices reasonable. We had the same table each day for breakfast and dinner. We spent some time around the pool, plenty of sun beds and pool towels provided. The pool was on the cooler side for me (23 degrees Celsius) so you had to brace yourself until you got used to the temperature but then it was fine and on some hotter days, quite refreshing. Overall, a good location and decent hotel for exploring both Sirmione and other places around the Lake.
