  Worst hotel in Sirmione

  This is the worst hotel I have ever visited in my life. Rooms are small and dirty. Staff is very rude. Breakfast was very poor. View from the room was on the wall of hotel accross narrow passage. I booked two nights but after first night I have changed the hotel.

  Great central Sirmione hotel with compact rooms

  With detailed directions from the hotel we found the car park we were directed to and then a golf buggy shuttle took us and luggage straight to the hotel door. Very easy and very well executed. The reception staff were delightful, the room was great though small and everything we required was there. Good AC and wifi. A very clean and tidy hotel with breakfast served in the top floor attic which offered everything required. Easy access to anywhere in Sirmione though the crowds of people were borderline insufferable. There are no supermarkets in Sirmione so if you want anything, buy before arrival or use the expensive café’s and restaurants. Good hotel but at €140 a night, it’s expensive!

  Overall, It Was A Good Stay and I'd Stay There Again

  The location of this hotel is great. And if you need to park there is a fantastic shuttle situation that couldn't be easier or more convenient. The room was very clean and had a full length mirror, closet space, a mini fridge, and was a decent size. The bathroom, and shower in particular were small, but seemed newly updated with modern, clean fixtures. The a/c worked well. The staff was nice. Breakfast was mostly a traditional Italian spread - pastries, cereal, meats and cheese, but they did also have bacon and eggs. Overall it was a good stay and I'd stay there again. It felt like a good value for a hotel in a very busy lakeside town.The bed was very firm and the pillows pretty flat and flimsy. The elevator could be slow but we often used the stairs anyway. The lobby is kind of plain and made me think the rooms wouldn't be as comfortable and clean as they actually were. Not a big deal at all, just an observation

  lovely 3* hotel very central

  Lovely 3* hotel in the centre of Sirmione. Room was lovely and clean. Nice and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the town which is very busy. Buffet Breakfast was adequate. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Would recommend

  Hotel Mavino is a nice hotel in a great location in Sirmione. It's just a few minutes walk from all shops restaurants etc and the pier for boats, the castle and Jamaica beach are very close by aswell. Everything you need is on your door step. The Hotel itself is a little bit dated, beds were very comfortable but you will hear the cleaners going around very early so no chance of lying in. The balcony is quite small but served it's purpose. We had a high floor with a Lake view which was lovely to look out at. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room which is a shame and a tip for anybody with long hair, bring your own hairdryer! The hairdryer provided in the bathroom was terrible. Old fashioned more like a handheld vacuum cleaner than a hairdryer with very poor heat coming out! The staff behind reception are helpful especially the young man there he is extremely friendly and enthusiastic!Overall its a good hotel for what you need to visit the sights of Sirmione!
