    Absolutely superb from start to finish - staff were the most friendly we have ever experienced in any hotel and specifically given we had our 8 month old son on his first holiday. They simply couldnt do enough! Room 508 has off the chart views, breakfast superb, pool superb and a pleasurable 15 minute walk along lake to centre - fantastic.

    We had the pleasure of staying three nights at this lovely hotel everything was so good from the staff to the lovely breakfast each morning the hotel and our room were spotless clean and very modern the pool area looked lovely unfortunately the weather was against us so we didn't get to use it . I left a very expensive pair of sunglasses in my room when I checked out and didn't realize until I got home I immediately got in touch with the hotel and they were so helpful they emailed to say they had found them and have already mailed them to me so they obviously have very honest staff I am so grateful they were a gift for my 60th birthday so had a lot of sentimental value to me once again a huge thank you to everyone involved for being so honest I would highly recommend this hotel Lake Front H, at Lakefront Hotel Mirage, responded to this review Dear mmjames,Thank you so much for your wonderful review and kind words — we're truly happy you enjoyed your stay with us!It’s always a pleasure when we’re able to reunite guests with something precious they’ve left behind, and in your case, we were especially glad to help.     Disappointing stay for the price

    The room we booked looked nice in the photos online, but the pictures conveniently hid the reality: the windows are heavily tinted, so you can’t see that your room actually looks out over the building’s basement. For a 4-star hotel, the room was extremely small and cramped, especially considering the price of €208 per night.We initially planned to book through Booking.com, but the hotel convinced us to book directly on their website with supposed “bonus perks” like free parking. In the end, it was even more expensive than Booking.com, and we were given a room in what felt like a storage area.When we complained, the staff justified it by saying we had booked a “Basic Room.” But seriously—what kind of “basic” room costs this much in a resort town?To make matters worse, the staff refused to move our dates, there were no available rooms for an upgrade, and we ended up having to pay a penalty to check out early—because living in a basement for €200 per night is simply unacceptable.Now, I can’t even leave an honest review on Booking.com, where they still maintain a 9.1 rating. Honestly, there are plenty of other hotels nearby at the same price with proper views and more spacious rooms. I would not recommend this place if you expect comfort and transparency about what you’re actually getting.     Great hotel with marina view

    Wonderful staff at a really lovely hotel. We had a fabulous time in Riva. The staff in the hotel always seemed to go above and beyond. They are all really friendly and encouraged us with our poor Italian. The room was lovely - on the 3rd floor with a side view of the marina area of the lake from the balcony. The room was always kept very clean and tidy and we appreciated the innovative way our towels were folded. My only negative would be the corner of the wooden bed which I kept knocking into. This was solved by popping a blanket under the mattress to cushion the corner. The bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower and lots of toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and the restaurant overlooks the pool. Lots of healthy options along with cooked eggs/omelettes on request and plenty of cakes and pastries (which we tried to resist). There’s a lovely seating area outside and bar prices were reasonable and service superb. We’ve been to the south of the lake several times before but wouldn’t hesitate to return to Riva and stay at Hotel Mirage Lake Front Hotel Mirage, Marketing at Lakefront Hotel Mirage, responded to this review Dear Mandy,Thank you so much for your lovely review!     Amazing hotel

    Beautiful hotel can’t fault it, staff so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Spotlessly clean and had amazing balcony views of the lake. Loads of choice for breakfast. Even got a cake for my birthday. Husband had a lovely massage in the spa. Definitely will return here In the future.
