    3 star at best

    rating18 May 2026

The location is very isolated not much to walk to on an evening. We paid for a superior room which was very basic at best so had to pay €140 to upgrade so at least we had seats, a tv we could see without turning our necks, and tea making facilities. The food was the cheapest ingredients you could make anything with, one night pea soup and pigs cheek with pollenta, yuk. The staff are very helpful and nice and the views from the hotel are wonderful. The spa costs 25 euros for 2 hours so carnt use heated pool for free even though outside pools freezing. BLU HOTELS, Other at Park Hotel Casimiro, responded to this review Dear Guest, thank you for sharing your opinion, although we are sorry about the tone of your review and some of the comments expressed, which we believe do not objectively reflect the quality of the property and the services provided. The hotel’s location, directly overlooking the lake and immersed in a peaceful and relaxing setting, is intentionally chosen by many guests precisely for its exclusivity and distance from the busier tourist areas. Furthermore, the features and amenities of each room category are clearly described at the time of booking.Regarding the culinary offering, our restaurant focuses on dishes inspired by local tradition and carefully selected ingredients, which are appreciated daily by many of our guests. The opinions expressed about the meals served are therefore entirely subjective. We would also like to clarify that access to the private spa, including the heated indoor pool, involves a supplement clearly indicated in advance, in line with the exclusive service provided and the standards of the property. In any case, we are pleased that you appreciated the kindness of our staff and the beautiful lake view, elements that have always been among the aspects most valued by our guests.Kind regards,

Hotel park cassimiro. Lake Garda Italy.🇮🇹

    rating01 Oct 2025

Just got back from Casimiro hotel. We visited as a package holiday so no car transport. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. Loved it. We were upgraded to a fitness room opposite the adult pool. This area is quiet and the views of lake amazing. The staff are so friendly and this is ALL staff whatever job they do- courteous and polite. The food is top class although the hot food could have been hotter. Plenty of variety at both evening and breakfast and plenty of it. Something for everyone’s taste, and I’m fussy. Their chips/ French fries for lunch snack are delicious. It is a remote hotel being on the shore so you do have to get the ferry to places but the port is right there by the hotel. Ticket lady very helpful. Senior prices mon-fri., but not Salo, only short trip. There is only one plug socket in the room so a double adapter would be handy, also no kettle- we took our own. Beware the fridge is on the wall like a bathroom cabinet. People we spoke to had a standard room which was opposite the tunnel. This did not have any view only a brick wall, not to everyone’s liking but they didn’t mind. They also walked to Salo, about an hour, so walkable. We would highly recommend this hotel for peace and quiet, good food and views to die for. This is when children were back at school so many adults were there for our stay. We would recommend the trip by fast ferry to Monte Baldo but beware of queues. The fast track( online ticket ) and actual purchased ticket queue is one, to get on the gondola. Ticket office to the right of queue, not in the building. We advise to get online tickets before you go. Views at the top again are amazing. Can see right over to the Dolomites. Lots of places to eat up there. Malcesine looks a nice place to look round but didn’t have time as ferry service restricting. Would need two days to do both town and mountain, unless no queue as we queued for hour and a half for mountain. We did the Venice excursion which was a long day but worth it, 8.10 am leave and back at 8.45 pm. The hotel will give you a packed breakfast if you order one the day before. Very informative guide although he did say you can’t holiday in Venice and our daughter did some 11 years ago and we saw people with cases. So not sure about that info. We found a little cafe down a side alley to eat which was reasonably priced. So head for them or get ripped off. We thought the gifts were very reasonably priced. Lots of glass and masks. Logoon boat trip which again was informative and you saw Venice from a different angle. Worth it. Prices for food drink etc in Italy on par with the UK so no shock there. Visited Heller gardens. Only a small place but unusual. Not such a steep climb as you may read from others. Worth it. Didn’t feel at all unsafe during the day where we went. Never went further than hotel at night so can’t vouch for after dark.So if you’re thinking of going here, go and enjoy your holiday. It’s a fantastic place. Blu Hotels, Marketing at Park Hotel Casimiro, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for providing such a comprehensive and insightful overview of the various excursions and activities available in the region. We appreciate your detailed feedback and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.Best regards

A well run hotel in a tranquil setting

    rating29 Sept 2025

I stayed at the Park Hotel Casimiro for a week and it was a really well run hotel in a quiet and tranquil setting.I'd seen comments about the rooms being small but my room in the annexe by the traffic barrier (rooms 4000+) was spacious with ample storage and a really comfortable bed. It is linked to the main hotel with a tunnel if you want to avoid rain. No sea view but you can sit at the amazing bar or anywhere in the grounds for a beautiful view across the bay opposite the Grand Hotel in Gardone Riviera. The restaurant was great - generous breakfast choices with pots of fresh coffee or freshly made cups brought to your table. Dinner was a bit hit and miss, ranging from just ok to really delicious, but I never went hungry. If you're half board you will only pay for your drinks. The hotel is lucky to have friendly and hard working staff in the restaurant who make an effort to look after the guests. The hotel is a little isolated compared to the bigger towns but it is just a 2 minute walk to the Portese port stop where the you can get a ferry to Salo to connect with the north of the lake, or go directly to the south via Garda. There is also a bike hire place in the port and the Gran Fausto restaurant is lovely for lunch with great views across the bay.I'd definitely consider returning!

    Overall good experience

    rating30 Aug 2025

Overall had a nice stay at Park Hotel Casimiro in Lake Garda. However, we booked a superior room which wasn’t superior, it was very small. It only had one mirror which was in the bathroom so it was really hard to get ready if the other person was using the bathroom. There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room and although the description states ‘mini bar’ it was just a fridge with 2 bottles of water that was not restocked. I personally found the beds very hard and uncomfortable. There was also an eggy smell that kept a coming from the drains. We did have fresh towels every day and there was lots of storage space to hang clothes. The location of the hotel was good, it was in a quiet areas but only a short distance to Salo town and had a ferry stop just outside making the whole lake accessible which was great. We made use of the spa on a rainy day which was £25 each for 2 hours. The spa was small and the Turkish steam room was broken but because it was my birthday they did give me a free 2 hours which was a nice gesture. The restaurant and adult pool had lovely views of the lake. There was plenty of sun loungers on the grass areas and easy acsess to the pebble beach. The food was lovely, especially the breakfast. Blu Hotels, Marketing at Park Hotel Casimiro, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Park Hotel Casimiro. We’re pleased to hear that overall you had an enjoyable stay and that you appreciated the hotel’s peaceful location, the beautiful lake views, the quality of the food – especially breakfast – as well as the spa and outdoor relaxation areas. We’re sorry to learn that certain aspects of your room did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify that the room sizes are always clearly indicated in the room descriptions at the time of booking, to help guests select the accommodation that best suits their needs.Regarding the minibar, we would like to point out that, as stated in the in-room information, restocking is available upon request. We apologise for the issue with the Turkish steam room – this was due to a temporary technical fault, which was reported and resolved by our maintenance team as quickly as possible. We’re glad you were still able to enjoy the spa facilities and that the complimentary session offered for your birthday was a welcome gesture. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide you with an even more comfortable stay.Kind regards,The Management
