  DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!! LIZARDS IN ROOM AND NO REFUND FOR LEAVING!!!! About an hour after we checked into our room, we noticed our bath tub did not have a shower head. My fiance politely asked the woman at the front desk if they happened to have any rooms with shower heads, he was met with a NASTY attitude as she bluntly told him "well you should have said something sooner because now the room isnt ready for use" and after a really uncomfortable exchange, finally agreed to show him a few rooms. Once we came back down to the lobby to tell them we were ready to move, we were given strange looks, more passive aggressive attitude from both the woman and the man at the desk as they gave us the new key. Once we got to the new room, there were not one but TWO LIZARDS IN THE ROOM. ONE RAN ACROSS MY LUGGAGE AND THE OTHER WAS ON OUR CEILING ABOVE THE BED. At this point we were simply not comfortable staying at the hotel so we politely brought our bags down and informed them of the situation and let them know we would be leaving. When we told them about the lizards, again met with an attitude and said "well we are in nature thats going to happen". I am sorry but I did NOT sign up to sleep with lizards at this "luxury" hotel. When we asked to speak with a manager we were brushed off and told he wouldnt speak with us and that we would not be receiving a refund for the room because we already switched rooms once. I have never left a bad review in my LIFE but needed to WARN people.

  Absolutely not a five-star hotel — terrible experience — trust the reviews and avoid this hotel at all costs

  I genuinely do not understand how QC Terme Roma can call itself a five-star hotel. Based on our experience, it is absolutely not.We booked one night and paid approximately €700, specifically because we wanted to enjoy what we expected to be a luxury hotel and spa experience. Instead, almost every aspect of our stay was deeply disappointing.The spa was overcrowded to an unacceptable degree. There were so many people that it felt more like a public pool than a luxury spa. The cleanliness was also appalling. The aperitivo area, in particular, was disgusting — there was a strong smell of body odour, hair and an overall lack of cleanliness. It was not remotely the relaxing, high-end experience we were expecting or paying for.The restaurant experience was equally terrible. The service was rude and unwelcoming, and when we tried to address our concerns, we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than guests who had paid a significant amount of money for their stay.Then came the most serious issue: our hotel room appeared to have bed bugs. The room was also dirty, old and poorly maintained. We immediately brought this to the hotel's attention and asked to leave and receive a refund. Given the circumstances, this seemed like a completely reasonable request.The response from management was shocking. The manager appeared completely uninterested in our concerns and refused to allow us to leave with a refund. We were effectively forced to choose between losing approximately €700 or staying somewhere we were no longer comfortable staying. We reluctantly stayed because we did not want to simply throw €700 away.The hotel did move us to another, larger room. Thankfully, we did not see any bed bugs in that room, but it was still dirty, dated and poorly maintained. Moving us to another room did nothing to change our overall experience or the fact that management failed to appropriately address what had happened.For a hotel that markets itself as five-star, the standard of cleanliness, service, maintenance and customer care was nowhere close to what we would expect from a five-star property. In fact, calling this a five-star experience feels completely misleading.We have stayed at many hotels throughout Italy and elsewhere in Europe, and this was by far one of the most disappointing experiences we have had. The price made it even worse — €700 for one night for an experience we actively wanted to leave is outrageous.Do not book this hotel expecting a five-star experience. We absolutely would not recommend QC Terme Roma and would never stay here again.

  Do Not Ignore The Bad Reviews!!! Strangest place….

  ***PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THE HONEST REVIEWS*** like we did! Most bizarre, weird, uncomfortable, unfriendly hotel and no where near 3 stars let alone 5?We would not leave a negative review ever really but it would be wrong not to inform other hard working people thinking of giving their money to this “5 star hotel” We paid over €500 for one night in this hotel a couple of weeks ago in July. It was a special occasion and we said we would treat ourselves because it is so close to the airport. This was a big deal for us so we were really looking forward to our stay. I feel so compelled to tell other decent people to avoid this hotel like the plague. 1. The room was basic, dated and there was no touches that gave it a luxury feel, we thought maybe a nice note, bottle of wine as they did ask if any special occasions, not even a free bottle of water in the room…not even a bottle of tap water?2. We were not allowed to walk to the pool without a giant thick dated white robe on? It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. In the height of summer your stopped and consistently told to wear a robe at all times, I get if your using the spa or going to a massage but to and from the room to the pool or the minute you get out of the pool to go to your sunbed. Not even allowed to wear shorts and a t shirt around the pool!?! This was honestly so strange. I felt anxiety like I was going to be penalised if I didn’t have it on. 3. The hotel has hundreds of day pass users who come to use the pools which are not pools, they are all shallow jacuzzis. Boiling hot and heaving with people packed in. There is no where to actually swim, no normal pools anywhere. Which brings me to my next point. 4. There was people conveying major PDA and beyond in the pools,everywhere you look, this was the main grievance, which is super uncomfortable to the point where we left the pool area immediately. The vibe is seriously strange, felt like we were interrupting something. Not appropriate for a so called luxury hotel. At one point I actually thought there was some type of steamy adult event on. It was like being in some sort of creepy simulation. This is no place for families or children or anyone who isn’t into the above. I’m sure you get what I’m trying to get across here…….5. Food portions are tiny and dinner service is so rude, not sure if it’s because we’re tourists? apart from the receptionists who were friendly.6. The shuttle bus they mention to the airport is not included in the price. So not even a lift in a van included for a five min drive despite paying silly money for the stay. You have been warned, keep your money, stay well away.

  awful staff... stinking dirty cold spa... old dirty rooms... rubbish expensive food,,,overpriced rooms ... no waty 5 star... more like rip off merchants charging high prices for things when yu have no choice... rude staff all of them ... DO NOT STAY HERE ..EVER

  The location and the entire place is very beautiful, a real vacation atmosphere. Many thanks to Alessandro for the help with the check in process and haveing us settled into the rooms at a very late hour in the night, when we arrived.
