  Another week at Castello Dal Pozzo

  We spent another amazing week at Castello Dal Pozzo, our second visit. We cannot fault this hotel/resort and we like how it is slightly back, 1km or so from the lake adding, we think, to the charm and tranquillity. The reception staff were, as previously, most welcoming, efficient, attentive and couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. Our room was excellent, very clean with great service from the housekeeping staff. The air conditioning has, we think, improved since last time, we found it to be very effective, easily controlled and quiet, most important for comfort in the hot weather. We had a number of dinners in Le Fief and Dan Garden restaurants and these were also excellent, compliments to the chefs and indeed all the staff there. The breakfast buffet was first-rate with a lot of choices and a chef cooking fresh omelettes and pancakes etc, to order. It was good to see a lot of familiar faces amongst the staff but also very encouraging to see a lot of new young people have been taken on and trained to a high standard. They, indeed all the staff were, without exception very friendly, kind and professional. Highly recommended. Suffice to say, we hope to return again next year.   Wonderful stay

  Great hotel, very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and dinner in the Dan Lounge was wonderful. Just a short drive from Arona on Maggiore and close to other spots like Lake Orta or Stresa (although parking in the latter was painful). The village which the hotel is situated in is small, but has a nice pizzeria and some other restaurants just a few minutes walk away.   Just incredible!

  What a place! Stunning location, immaculate rooms, views over the lake and the surrounding area are breathtaking! Breakfast was fantastic, huge selection of hot and cold foods/fruits and eggs/waffles etc made to order. Staff are hugely welcoming and helpful, massive thanks to Giancarlo for finding us a taxi on Saturday night in Arona. The Above and Beyond goes to Enrico, the bartender. Maker of cocktails extraordinaire! Freshly cut flowers from the garden, little twists on the original recipes, and each time they did not disappoint. It was a joy to watch him work! Cocktail masterclasses should be added to the resort calendar! Hubby is already recreatimg his pina colada!
