    Good, but no soul

    This hotel has everything parking underground with access to the hotel. Metro 2 minute away, whisking you into the centre of Milan in 20 minutes.Room was spacious, clean and tidy with good facilities. Breakfast was OK, good selection. Price reasonable.Just liked and atmosphere or vibe, which was a shame!

    Booked a room for my wife and I with our 1 year old son. When we got to the hotel we had to book an entirely separate room for another “adult” because apparently our son was not on the booking. There was no possible way to add him to the booking and we were forced into buying an additional room for no reason. Gestione Canale, Proprietario at Abacus Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,we regret that your stay did not meet your expectations; however, it is necessary to clarify a few essential points.The reservation was made for two adults. Had the correct number of guests been declared at the time of booking, including the presence of an infant, our system would not have allowed the reservation of a double room, but would have automatically displayed a triple room, enabling you to assess in advance the option most suitable for your family.At no point during the booking process, nor prior to arrival, was the presence of a child communicated. Had this information been provided, we would have been pleased to propose an appropriate solution immediately. Please note that in our hotel double rooms are strictly limited to two persons, regardless of age.On the day of arrival, unfortunately, all triple rooms were fully booked. As a result, the only available alternative was the purchase of an additional room. This circumstance did not arise from an arbitrary decision on our part, but rather from the initial omission of the correct guest count in the reservation.We also believe that assigning a one-star rating across all categories does not accurately reflect the quality of the property, but appears instead to be a reaction to the understandable frustration related to the cost of the additional room. Had the reservation details been accurate from the outset, the matter would have been resolved easily with only a minimal difference in price.We are always committed to assisting our guests; however, room occupancy policies are clear and applied consistently to all.Kind regards,Management

    Gianfranco, his chef and their sidekick maintenance worker were beyond extraordinary. The service and food was stellar and impressive. 10/10. I would come back. The atmosphere was classy, quiet and delightful. Anything you need is met with great expertise. Would recommend.

    The hotel was good clean . Staff were polite and nice. Gianfranco a staff member is amazing and helpful and gave me advise on places to see and visit with my family to enjoy or shop. Special thanks to Gianfranco,Would definitely recommend this place

    Work trip to a local business. Booked in by colleague. Suited our needs as close to the business we were visiting and not too far from airport. I had read before I went that there was not a kettle in the room so went prepared. Being British it is important to have a constant flow of tea. Room was slightly dated but clean and had everything needed for the three night stay. Breakfasts were good and the filled croissants were lovely. Staff in the restaurant were friendly.Hotel is right next to metro that takes you into Milan. We went in once on our last day and it was on €2 each way taking you right into the heart of Milan. Restaurants are good around the hotel and very reasonably priced as not a tourist area as such. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening but food was available. We did not have time to use the pool or leisure facilities but they were available. I forgot to request a bath but my colleague had one so they are available should you prefer. All in all a good stay and suited our needs.
