  The rooms are well located and with private parking inside Clean, tidy, complete with everything. Special thanks to the lady in charge of the rooms for the courtesy and availability shown.   So fun!

  We toured northern Italy and wanted to stay somewhat close to Melpensa airport for an early morning flight. I found reviews about this hotel over a bakery online, emailed the host, and had my reservations in a timely manner. We knew we'd be coming into town later than the check in time, so Roberto and Fabio went out of their way to meet us at the hotel, check us in, and make sure we were comfortable with all arrangements. They gave us information on what to do during our short stay in Gallerate, especially since it was a Sunday evening, and not many things were open. We found a local pub to eat, drink, and watch soccer within easy walking distance. In the morning, breakfast was just perfect and a cab was called (and came within 2 minutes) to take us to the airport. The hosts are gracious and generous, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped with sizable bathrooms and kitchenettes. Security is excellent and everything is updated and beautiful! I highly recommend this as an alternative to a boring, traditional hotel!

  We spent two nights in a triple room at Amalia Bakery Home while visiting family in Gallarate. The room had one double or queen bed, and a cot. The hotel consists of rooms located above a bakery. The hotel was very new, modern, clean, and recently renovated. The room was very spacious, and seems like it might be ideally suited for longer-term stays as it has a large closet and a kitchenette. WiFi is provided, and free parking is available behind the hotel. Tickets are provided for each guest so you can pick items from the bakery below for breakfast each morning (i.e. a croissant, piece of pie, etc), and the food was very good.There were several things that could be improved: there is no elevator, which means heavy luggage must be dragged upstairs (although there is a lift for people in wheelchairs); the mattresses are foam and were a bit uncomfortable; there do not appear to be any staff designated for the hotel, but rather you must check in and deal with the bakery staff, which is a bit awkward and confusing and so you do not get the level of service you would expect given the price of the room; and finally, while the parking is very handy, multiple electronic key cards are required to access the parking gates and the building at night, which was confusing at times. Overall, it's evident that a lot of work has been put into building this hotel and making it into a very nice and modern property, these are just things that could be addressed to bring this up fully to a complete overall guest experience.

  I had a quick visit in Gallarate and it was better to stay over night. My company managed this Hotel above a Bakery. The bakery really looks nice,stylish .... The rooms are spacious very clean and new. It needs some decoration to make it more cosy. The bed was a " sofa bed" this was a little disappointing. I love to have a good breakfast and I expected something like this, part of the "bakery" .... but NO ... just croissants with marmalade .... I left hungry.
