  Good Hotel.

  A small hotel. Very clean, Everybody is polite. The location is right in the center of Milan. Great breakfast. The hotel have a roof top from where you can see the whole city including Duomo.The hotel is too expensive. I wish there were a pool or spa.

  Italian Arrogance at its best

  ‘A great welcoming place’, that is the first line of their advertisement and it’s a lie. Booked to stay here over 1.5 mths in advance. Thought I was booking a double room at €500 for 2 nights as a single traveler. Now my companies booking system had a glitch and although my booking (and my confirmation) said ‘double’ . What I got was a single or box room as we would call it back home. Now when I say single room more like a nuns cell.My issue is how they dealt with me, nothing welcoming about it. I was just told by reception my confirmation email was not from their system and it was wrong.So I got on to my companies travel booking company on the phone who did confirm their system had a glitch. They did call the hotel to tell them it was their error and as there were double rooms available, hopefully the hotel could accommodate. The hotel’s response was if I wanted a double I had to pay another €120.No ‘i am sorry about that’ or anything. I know it was not their error but it was not mine either.Most companies would say the customer is king, well clearly not in this hotel. My colleague is arriving later tonight, I wonder what reception or room will they will get and if they get treated like a king.

  Here is why I don’t recommend this hotel

  Hotel Ariston, looks luxurious but the service isn’t luxurious. We had just problems with this hotel. At first we try to contact them about transfer from airport to the hotel and what the price it will be. They answered about prices, and we mailed them that we are interested. We never got any more details about picking us up. We tried to call them days before and nobody answered or called back. The say they at morning they told us that we have send information about the flight again. And then we thought that this is unprofessional so we just got an uber. When we got into the hotel we got questions about why weren’t with the driver. I told them that cause they didn’t answer on the mail with any confirmation and no one was waiting at us, that we took uber. They’re weren’t happy ofc, but we did apologise (but we didn’t felt like it was ours fault and responsibility). After all they said we don’t have to pay but asked if we still wanted to take transfer to airport from hotel at our last day. We confirmed. The last day, the receptionist is giving us the bill for over 1700 euro. We get scared of that giant amount. We ask why and what is that for, cause we were just going to pay fees and the transfer. He tell us that it’s for the hotel (they took the money for the hotel one day before we came to them) so we sad that we have already paid for hotel. And his like “No, you said when you arrived that you are going to pay by cash”. We are totally 100% sure that we never got asked that question, and we wouldn’t answer that we pay cash, his that is a big amount. And if they are not compatible to understand English, then don’t hire them. Cause we, tourists, are getting problems because of that. They where also going to make some breakfast box cause the day we where leaving, we where leaving at 7:15. So we didn’t had time to eat (even though we payed for breakfast that they too). WE NEVER GOT THOSE BOXES! The room wasn’t clean when we arrived, or when we were staying in the hotel. We found hair in the toothbrush cup and the floor wasn’t clean at all. The transfer they had and recommended was very luxurious, but he were driving 185km/h! I felt so sick 🤢 he was also aggressive for other drivers on the road. Someone stopped a car on the road and he stopped too, and started jelling at them. Should be a relaxing vacation, was just stressing.

  Location and service is perfect

  I have stay 3nights with my wife and 6 years old daughter size of the room is large and service was perfect. Most of the attraction points is a walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast and coffe is tasty and. There is a roof terrace where you can enjoy milan view from top.

  Excellent hotel to explore Milan.

  Three of us stayed in Room 501 for the period 21-28/3/2025. Our room was spacious, well decorated, clean and fully equipped. The bathroom was fully equipped too. The mattresses and pillows were excellent, being conducive to a restful, relaxed sleep.Room service and Wi-Fi were excellent. Breakfast was very good – strangely for a 4-star hotel, no fried eggs were offered. The people at the reception, especially Luigi, were always courteous, helpful and effective; a big "Thank You" to them! They made our stay in Milan so much easier and more enjoyable.The hotel public areas were beautifully decorated, airy, spacious and comfortable.The hotel was centrally placed, within walking distance of the Duomo, Vittorio Emmanuelle II Galleria, Teatrale Alla Scala, Castello Sforzesco, Navigli Canal, etc. Also, there were lots of restaurants and bars in the hotel vicinity. All-in-all, an excellent hotel choice! We will call again.
