Location

Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Airport hotel with shuttle at Linate airport. Ok for a one night stay. Ask for a room with a soft mattress.

    Booked this hotel because it was the only one at Linate which has an airport shuttle. Getting the shuttle is not easy, you need to call the hotel, and get upstairs. It’s a short ride to the hotel. Checking easy. Our room was small, modern, double bed, which had a firm mattress, too firm for us, hard to sleep. We did hear some planes taking off, not too bad. Breakfast was on the main floor, plenty of options and complete. The staff spoke English well. We took the shuttle back to the airport the next morning.

    Nice hotel with very comfortable beds. Close to the airport. I am not a light sleeper, I have to say, but I was not disturbed. Breakfast was the best I got sogar in Italy.

    Hotel stay part was good (acceptable) but the restaurant (food and service) part was TERRIBLE ! Never again !

    Our experience with this hotel was mixed - both good AND bad !The "good" part was the extreme proximity and frequent free shuttle services between the hotel and the airport - also, the front desk person during check-in (Matteo) was very friendly and helpful - however; not so much at check-out early the next morning - I didn't get the person's name and he obviously wasn't as friendly and warm with us as Matteo was on the previous evening when we checked in ! The room itself (to accommodate the 4 of us) was nice and very acceptable.Now, for the "bad" part - the RESTAURANT - very pricy with just barely (pass-able) mediocre (taste-wise) food and absolutely ATROCIOUS "service" - the staff (barely 2 persons) on the evening that we dined there were absolutely inattentive and distant and did NOT care to attend to us - knowing that we had children - I had to wait for well over 15 minutes just to get some ice that I had requested for my drink - the lady who "attended" to us - by the name of IRINA - was cold and distant and seemingly apathetic to our needs, queries, etc. - it almost seemed like she didn't or couldn't care less whether we were tired, hungry, just needed some help to order our dishes, etc. Yes - it seemed to us as though she DIDN't really care nor want to attend to us and "serve" us in any half-way acceptable way !So - all in all, my family and I have decided that we will NEVER again patronize this establishment and we know that we will NOT be poorer for this decision of ours based on our stay there from just a few days earlier. I hope this review does indeed "help" someone !

    We are very happy we chose Best Western Air Hotel Linate for the last night in Italy. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was great and we appreciated the shuttle to the airport. And we are truly grateful to the kind and empathetic lady in charge of the restaurant orders who assisted us on the 19th. God bless her.

    Surprising comfort, care, and convenience, close to Linate

    5/5 ExcellentThe front desk attendants (who seemed to work around the clock since the same two gentlemen were there for our late afternoon check-in and the following morning when we left) were very professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. They answered our questions before we could ask them. Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There was an electric kettle and complimentary tea/coffee supplies, snacks, and bottled water in the room. One minor issue was that the shower stall is tiny and the water leaked out onto the bathroom floor though the shower door was fully closed. At the in-house restaurant, we enjoyed a delicious pizza after checking in and a lovely breakfast the next morning with all of the staples. The hotel is very close to Linate airport and provides free parking at the hotel and convenient, free shuttle service to and from the airport. The front desk staff provided us with a map and instructions for taking the metro from the airport to Milan's commercial center (about a 10-minute ride on subway line 4 toward San Cristoforo, stop at San Babila. Purchase tickets from the machine at the station) Our only suggestion would be that the outside of the hotel could be made more attractive. When we first arrived, we thought we had made a mistake in choosing this hotel looking at the external appearance. Happily, that thought disappeared the moment we stepped inside.
