  I was in Milan for over 2 months oer work reasons and being Milan a very expensive city I semore stayed the Hostels until I discovered this hostel, we start from the garden that is really big and very nice the hostel with the largest garden and oiu beautiful in Milan (I stayed in a total of 7 hostels) the rooms are simple but clean at ijizio I stayed in a room with a private bathroom that really nice and very clean after for always cheap reasons I moved to the dorm room with the external dwarf that are inlencamerate typical of large Hostels Recommendations Originally submitted in Italian on www.tripadvisor.it.   Avoid it at All costs!

  I stayed at Hi ostello Milano for 2 nights unfortunately because of late check in. It has 4 cubicles with curtains and 4 toilets at male shower room dirty all the time. A lot of immigrants who stay there for long time. One of them stole all of my cash in the room while I was sleeping. The place is dirty all over the place and all facilities are very old and decaying. The beds and mattresses don't offer you the opportunity to sleep for more than 3 hours. A lot of noise and light in the room. A lot of bugs too of any kind. Stuff doesn't speak English. Breakfast is basic. No value for money. A nightmare...

  Awful - pay more and go elsewhere

  Stayed for 2 nights for the Newcastle Milan match. Worst hostel I’ve ever been in. Bunks so lightweight they tipped over getting out of top bunk with nobody in the bottom - I fell back, banged my head and got some nasty bruises. I was able to literally pick the double bunk up clean off the ground and put it back in placeBathroom dirty and no hot water at all. Room smelled awful - though granted that’s not necessarily the fault of the hostelAt €23 a night I didn’t expect much but was still disappointed. Pay more and go somewhere better - this is little more than a flophouse

  The worst hostel I have ever stayed at, without a doubt

  My friend and I came to Italy to visit Milan, Florence, and Rome. The first city we went to was Milan and we had booked a different hotel but my friend took us to Ostello Milano on accident (that’s our fault). We arrived and told the receptionist (some rude guy that pretty much tried to scam us) that we had booked a reservation at that hotel. We told him our booking reference number and the names we made the booking under. He didn’t say we hadn’t made a reservation for that hotel and proceeded to book a room for us and charge us $300 for 2 nights. We had also booked a 3 bed room (at the hotel we were supposed to go to originally) and asked to change the room to a double twin or single double bedroom. They didn’t, but when we arrived to our room, we didn’t get 3 beds but two twin beds pushed together, but they had charged us for a 3 bed room. We realized later that day that we had gone to the wrong hostel and confronted the receptionist that made us the booking at Ostello Milano. He said that we had to wait for the owner of the hotel to get back to him to see if we could cancel our 2nd night and get some sort of refund. My friend spoke to a different receptionist the next day to see if she would be more willing to help us, and she was just as rude toward him if not more, telling him that it was his fault he was there and that he put himself in that situation, and that they held no responsibility. It wouldn’t have been super upsetting if the hotel was decent, but it was a complete sh*thole. One of the hinges to the bathroom door immediately broke, the shower turns off by itself every 15 seconds, there’s no light switch to the bathroom (it’s automatic, and it turns on by itself when we make the slightest move in our bed, then takes 10 minutes for it to turn back off). They claim that the shower tiles are also “self-cleaning,” and it’s still dirty. It’s obvious that they never clean the showers themselves. The blanket to the bed is also just one thin bedsheet. And this is all just off the top of my head. Tldr; If I can convince even just a few people not to go here, I’ll be happy. I am certain that there are many other places that are much nicer and cleaner, and aren’t as expensive and greedy as the people that work at/own Ostello Milano.

  Ma che è sto schifo! ? Ma veramente state facendo!?What is this crap! ? But really you are doing!?Non alloggiate in questa struttura perché è un disastro!Don’t stay in this facility because it’s a disaster!Qui la sporcizia regna sovrana. Pavimento lurido, quasi si può raccogliere la patina gelatinosa che si trova a terra.Here the dirt reigns supreme. Dirty floor, you can almost pick up the gelatinous patina that is on the groundLa puzza nei bagni è tremenda, il fetore è quasi palpabile.The smell in the bathrooms is terrible, the stench is almost palpable.I cessi sanno del mercato del pesce (marcio).The toilets know about the (rotten) fish market.In camera non c'è riscaldamento, io ho alloggiato a Novembre. Il costo è di 16€ a notte.There is no heating in the room, I stayed in November. I paid 16€ per night.
