Location

The hotel is in the heart of the city's shopping area, only a short way from the fashion and shopping precinct, around 5 min from the Porta Garibaldi Railway Station and some 10 min from the Central Station. In the close vicinity of this establishment guests will find the Corso Como, with its restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. The hotel is about 10 min from the Cathedral, the Teatro della Scala and from Leonardo da Vinci's painting of the Last Supper, the Cenacolo Vinciano, as well as only 5 min from the Castello Sforzesco. It is within easy reach of the new Rho-Pero Exhibition Centre and major public transport services to the old city centre as well as to Malpensa and Linate airports are available day and night.

Facility

The hotel has 9 single rooms and 120 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing.     Easy hotel to walk from the station from airport by train. Location is next to tram service to take you efficiently back and forth to the city centre. Plenty of good local rest to eat as well. Great servcie and rooms did exactly what was expected. Great breakfast selection. Thanks for a great stay.

    We stayed at Holiday Inn Milan - Garibaldi Station for 3 nights over a weekend and absolutely loved it! It ticked every box we were looking for = clean, well located, friendly staff.We arrived into a lovely reception area and was greeted by Constantino, he checked us in with ease and helped us to locate the tram stop directly outside the hotel which we needed the next day. (We wanted to get to the Duomo and used Tram No 4 to get there and back, it was really easy and used contactless payment at the ticket points on the tram itself, it was approx. 2 Euros for a full day ticket)The room (No 126) was perfect! Tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and pillows, nice ambient lighting, television (that could be changed to English & we could watch Netflix & Disney+ once logged in). There was a small fridge in the room with complimentary water - this was a lovely touch.The room had air-con/temperature control which worked perfectly and was great to return to a cool room after a warm day in Milan.There is a safe within the wardrobe which was great and very easy to use.Heavy blackout curtains meant the room was pitch black and we slept like babies!The bathroom had everything we needed, shower worked well and the hand soap, shower gel & shampoo were gorgeous! (Lemongrass & ginger). The room was cleaned and bed was made each morning during our trip.The hotel is located a short stroll away from many bars and restaurants, the area had a nice atmosphere and we felt safe even after dark.On departure, a lovely male staff member (sorry forgot his name!) checked us out easily and even came outside to check our taxi had arrived as planned as he was concerned we had been stood waiting a while - we really appreciated his attentiveness. This hotel exceeded our expectations and we would 100% recommend staying here to others looking to explore Milan.

    Worst Holiday Inn I have come across!

    Being a IHG Platinum member, I have stayed at a fair share of IHG Holiday Inn hotels around the world. The Holiday Inn Milan Garibaldi Station is by far the worst I have ever stayed. I was told that my pathetic room has been upgraded and renovated. The shower is even smaller than one on a cruise boat. The room is noisy even with the double windows and hot with no ventilation. Waited 3.5 hours and called FOUR TIMES for towels. Still waiting patiently. No lotion provided. Food at the breakfast eg sausages, hash browns, eggs etc were cold and hard. The services of the Holiday Inn Milan are worse than a Holiday Inn express. Only pro is the location near the tram line. Would not recommend nor stay here again. Despite arriving very early in the morning, he went above and beyond to find me an available room right away.
