    Kind and welcoming staff, despite dated facilities

    We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience, mainly thanks to the exceptional kindness of the staff.From the moment we arrived, the team was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Their positive attitude really made a difference throughout our stay and is the main reason we look back on it fondly.That said, the hotel itself feels more like a motorway stopover hotel. The room was quite old-fashioned and not particularly pleasant in terms of decor or atmosphere. While it was functional, it would definitely benefit from some renovation and modernization to make the stay more comfortable.Breakfast was acceptable but could also be improved, both in terms of variety and overall quality.In summary, this is not a luxury or charming property, but the warmth and professionalism of the staff truly stand out and make the experience better than the facilities alone would suggest.

    Hotel was lovely, staff where also very lovely and helpful, enjoyed our stay, only thing that hinded our weeks break was the location but that is not the hotels fault its ours, hoping we had public transport but there wasnt any, beware taxi's rip you off

    Lingering Cigarette Smoke

    The exterior and common areas are well maintained and nicely decorated, but the hallways (and our room) smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was dark and the beds were hard. We booked two nights with points and ended up leaving 10 minutes after we checked-in and forfeited our stay/points.
