    Stayed at the Hotel for 9 nights and experience was excellent. Front Office and Housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very close to the Metro station and Grocery store. We definitely enjoyed our stay.We will stay there again when get a chance to visit.     Comfortable stay and world class service

    We are a family of five staying in this hotel for our Milan leg of the trip. After Rome, Montserrat, and Barcelona, this is definitely our most comfortable stay. Our room is located in 7th floor, both are clean and spacious with plenty of towels provided and a bathrobe included. The highlight is the absolutely impeccable service. The receptionist was extremely helpful and kindly accomodated our request to stay in the same floor (we booked two rooms). The food and drinks in the room service are reasonably priced, and even then there is a supermarket nearby if you would like other options. The room also has hot water kettle and a fridge for your groceries.Overall, a stay and service befitting of a four star hotel. Would recommend this hotel, especially the 7th floor, for fellow travellers with families. I hope you get the same friendly receptionist that we got!

    Our stay at iH Milano St John was honestly such a great experience from our arrival the team made sure to do something extra special for my partner who’s birthday it was, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! The hotel was very nice, clean and cosy. The hotel staff cleaned the room to a great standard every single day and were very polite. The breakfast was tasty and was consistently replenished which helps if you are coming for breakfast at various times of the morning. If catching public transport it is a bit of a walk to each metro but still within walking distance with the option of 2 stations. I Really liked this hotel and would definitely recommend.     Great as always . This is 4 time I visit the hotel this year , and I have found my favorite hotel in Milan. Worldclass staff .     Ok hotel, needs renovation

    We were given this hotel as part of the Wowcher mystery holiday deal. On arrival, the reception seemed promising with welcoming staff. However, when we got to our room we were hit with the smell of stale cigarettes and old furniture. The barhroom was clean, but definitely needs renovation work. The bed was comfy(ish), we only stayed 3 nights but couldn’t wait to get back to a comfortable bed. The breakfast was okay, not amazing but edible. The rooms are very dated and also need renovation. Not sure where the photos of the rooms on their website are from, as they are very catfishy! The room was very hot, as the air con didnt work very well, so we had to sleep with our mini travel fans next to us. We did have a kind of balcony (if you climbed out the window), however this was mainly taken up by the massive aircon units, which were rather loud. Short walk to the metro station, there are 2 in the area. One is in a bit of a dodgy area, so didnt feel overly safe walking back at night. There was a great bakery and supermarket approx 10 minutes from the hotel. The metro into milan was roughly 15 minutes, we also caught the train to varenna (train was very busy) so we could have a dip in Lake Como. We did make use of the hotel bar on our last night, 2 bottles of wine were relatively cheap but drinkable. The courtyard (through reception) was a lovely place to sit with a drink and enjoy the summer evenings. Overall, an Ok hotel, might stay again but wouldn’t rush to it.
