  The hotel is modern and well located only a few minutes walk of the main central station. With its train and metro. Room was a good size. Modern. Staff were excellent. I had to leave one night early due to personal issues and depute having a booking for three nights and only staying for two, they kindly didn’t charge me for the third night even though I left the hotel after 3pm.   You know how it is when you arrive at a hotel and you instantly think, "Oh, this is going to be lovely"? That was this place. Chic, stylish, the kind of lobby where you feel you ought to whisper or at least stand up straighter. The staff were professional and pleasant – not in that terrifying, rehearsed way, but genuinely nice. I'd have adopted them if I could.The room was decorated with real taste – not the sort of "designer" taste that leaves you perched on an uncomfortable chair made of twigs, but proper, comfortable elegance. Spotlessly clean. And the mini-bar had soft drinks that were actually enjoyable. I sat there, sipping a rather good tonic water, thinking, "Yes. This is civilised."So. Eight points out of ten. Why not ten? Well, let me be gently honest.First: no bidet. Now, I appreciate that this is not a universal requirement. Half the world gets along without one. But in a hotel of this standing, I confess I had imagined – perhaps fancifully – a little porcelain companion waiting for me. Something to make me feel momentarily French. Instead, I found only the usual arrangement. I coped, obviously. I am a grown man. But a tiny part of me sighed.Second: breakfast. And here I must be careful, because breakfast was perfectly fine. Pleasant, even. It just… lacked a little imagination. A few more cheeses would have been lovely – nothing outrageous, just a bit of variety. And the orange juice? Well, it was orange juice. It did the job. But it had that unmistakable, slightly melancholy flavour of juice that has seen a factory. Freshly squeezed would have been a lovely nod to the otherwise excellent standards. More choice, a touch more freshness – that's all.So there you have it. A genuinely wonderful stay, with two small, forgivable shortcomings. I'd go back in a heartbeat.   Innside by melia is located in the most perfect location, not too busy , not too far, beautiful atmosphere, close to everywhere. Rooms are super cool, they are rounded with glass walls which gives you a cool view. Very clean and tidy.Water pressure is extremely satisfying ❤️.Given that it’s located in a main road , the noise level was very low, can sleep or relax easily. Breakfast is very good , good options to choose from. Service is very professional, GOOD COFFEE TOO!!!!! . Would definitely be back and would definitely suggest this to anyone visiting Milano.   Spent three nights here before catching a tour and wanted a place close to the train station. Excellent choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful at check in and got me a room an hour before standard time. Hotel is very clean and nicely furnished. Had the Innside room with city view and it was spacious and comfortable with a huge walk-in shower and on a higher floor with a great view. Had dinner here the first night and it was quite good. The train station is about a five minute walk away, which was convenient for the day trips I did. The air conditioning was a bit slow to cool down the room, but was okay eventually.The only wrinkle was the first night. At about 1 in the morning, I woke up to bright light in my eyes, which was an emergency light. And nothing electrical in the room worked. I called down to the front desk and they said was a power outage affecting the entire hotel, which had never happened before. It eventually came on about 6:30 in the morning, which was good since I needed to get ready and catch a train. To make up for the inconvenience, the hotel did comp my dinner, which helped. Things happen.If not for the power outage, everything was very good, and I would stay here again if in Milan.   We arrived from Milan Centrale. An relatively easy walk with suitcases which they held until the room was ready. All went well until the power went out mid afternoon. It was still not resolved by 5pm and given we had medication that required refrigeration we asked for an alternative accommodation. Their 5 star luxury sister hotel. Me Melia near Metro Repubblica was a chauffeur assisted drive away. What extraordinary service. We were spoilt by the stay.
